Taiwan Trip Oct 2010 - Shopping

Hmm...I wish to do day by day post or at least a detail long post about it.

By judging the free time I have, I do not think I can do it that way.

So, let me start it with shopping first!

What are the things that you should not miss in Taiwan?

1. Shoes! Ladies shoes are cheap and nice. Not sure how durable it is though. But one thing for sure they are fashionable! A pair of flats is like RM20 and a pair of heels is about RM40. However, I found that the Taiwanese got small feet! So, if you are wearing size 7 or 8, then you will need some luck to find your shoes. For the shoes, I found mine at Taipei City Mall - 台北地下街。

2. Umbrella! There so many types of umbrellas with different design and features! There are automatic (press the button on handle and the canopy will open and press again, the canopy will collapse) umbrellas, windproof umbrellas, heat protection umbrellas, UV protection umbrellas and some prevent flounce, light. Prices are vary depends on the feature, fabric used for the canopy and materials used for the ribs. They are not cheap but still you will feel like to bring at least one back. They are just pretty. I bought mine at Elista - 诚品.

3. Facial mask! One should seriously do some survey at local phamarcies before going to Taiwan. Then you will know what mask is cheap to get! ;) From time to time, Cosmed - 康是美 offers different promotion for certain mask.

4. Books! You know the price normally show at the back cover of a book is the price that sell in Taiwan. Did not buy any! Haha...Because books are too heavy to carry back and I did not have time to look for it. Abit regret!

Those are the things that I think one should not miss! :)

Saturday afternoon

It has been a while since I last play around with flowers.

Last Saturday, I suddenly had the mood to re-arrange the 2 pots of flowers putting on the TV cabinet.

I re-arranged them into a pot but with 2-way presentation.

View 1:
It looked like this before I re-arranged it.

View 2:

No photo of how it looks like before I do something onto it.

I really had a lot of fun playing around with all the flowers!

He has never fail to surprise me

This morning, when we were lazying on the bed.

Aden: *pointing to the wall lamp above* Mommy, na ge shi shen me lai de? (Mommy, what is that?)
Mommy: *wondering why he asked since he knows what it is so long ago* na ge?! (That one?!)
Aden: *nodding his head* Ah.
Mommy: Deng. (Lamp.)
Aden: Oh, wo yi wei ni jiao wo, Aden! (Oh, I thought you are calling me, Aden!)

Deng and Aden, so my son thought that they sound similar.

I will go like this -.-" if it is a cold joke told by a friend. However, it comes out from my son's mouth! I am very surprised by how he always manage to relate things with each other.

Little Shoes

I was clearing my son's stuff. First, I started off with his shoes. Before they are being given away, I snapped a photo and do a post to record them all.

The middle brown booties at the front row is his first shoes if it is also considered as shoes. He still cant walk when wear that. That's why it is clean.

The black shoes at the back row is for his first birthday party. It is shiny. I remember how everyone praising his shoes but he still does not know how to walk yet.

He starts to walk when he is 16mo. I thought of to buy him the pair of jeans shoes for him which make a fun squeak sound as he walks. However, his feet grows so fast that he cant fit in the shoes by the time he learns to walk. LOL

So we bought him the sandals (front row) which also squeaks.

The nike shoes at the back row is bought before Chinese New Year 2010. Where as the other pair of Combi shoes is bought by my bro in Macau. I have totally forgotten that shoes until I open the drawer and found it. Sayang lo, I think Aden did not wear it more than 10 times lo.

Actually, there are another 2 pairs of shoes that are not in the photo which are given by my friends. But Aden had never wear those 2 pairs, so I did not put them in. ;p

Another Lancome Product that I ♥

UV-Expert GN-Shield High Potency Active Protection BB Base SPF 5O PDA+++ High UVA PPD. In short, it is the Lancome UV Epert BB base.

What is it?
"Lancome's first breakthrough active shield with a revolutionary shade to provide ideal instant skin fairness and evenness, correct imperfections and undull skin. Upon daily application at the end of your skincare routine, skins look rejuvenated. UV-induced brown spots, blemishes and fine lines look reduced. Intensely protected, moisturised, complexion looks younger and instantly fairer, glowing with transparency."

I was told it can be used alone without foundation. On certain lazy days, you just need to apply this BB base and pat on with some powder, then you are ready to go out. It is impressive.

So, I tried. It does pretty good job. I really can see the "glowing with transparency" on my face which I really love. Of course, it provides enough coverage to the redness, brown spots, blemishes and fine lines. Now if you remember Lancome Maquiliquid UV Infinite which I recommended last year and if you had tried that and wished to get something even lighter, I think you will like this BB base.

The before & after photos:

The reason I love it;
  1. Easy to apply compare to Lancome Maquiliquid UV Infinite. Just apply it like any sunscreen.
  2. It is like 2 in 1 - Sunscreen + Foundation. Save time in applying and money (Lancome Maquiliquid UV Infinite = RM130 and Lancome UV-Expert Neuroshield = RM143)
So far, I tried Skin79 BB cream. To compare the two, this Lancome UV-Expert BB Base texture is quite fluid and make it easier to apply. It is lightweight which I think Skin79 BB cream cannot compete with. The colour is fairer compare to Skin79 BB cream and match my skin tone very well!

Now, I have one new Lancome Maquiliquid UV Infinite for sale! Anyone interested?! Please feel free to contact me! ;p

Aden:

Aden:

Aden:

Aden:

Dolphin

I bought baby Cola and lil moo moo each a dolphin like a year ago. Aden called it dolphin.

Ccw insisted me to buy a dolphin for Aden from Ocean Park last month. So, I got him the mummy and baby dolphin.

About 10 days later, he got another big dolphin from dory and my bro. Aden named it "Ah Chik"! I have no idea why he called it that name but when I am typing out Ah Chik, it looks like my bro's name. LOL.

I was driving my little boy back home on Sunday night. He was misbehaving that night. So, I talked to him on the way home.
Mummy: Aden, 你不可以喊大大声,知道吗?(You should not shout, you know?)
Aden: 。。。
(Do not play roughly with Bulat, ok?)
Aden: 。。。
(Do you hear me?)
Aden: 。。。
(Mummy is talking to you, you understand? It you are not listening, I am not going to bring you to grandma's house next time.)
Aden: (in tiny voice)有..(yes)
(Aden, got listen or not? Ok, you are not answering, mummy dun wan to bring u to koko's house next time.)
Aden: (speak slightly louder)有..(yes)
(Ok, you must remember what I said. If you repeat the same thing, mummy is not going to bring you there anymore.)

That night, when we made him to sleep, ccw and I chatted a bit.

Then, suddenly my little boy said: 不要讲话了。 (Stop talking.)
Ccw replied him: ok.
I just kept quiet since he told me not to speak. And the next minute, he turned to me and asked: Mummy, (Do you understand?)

And ccw burst into laughter. I mean likes this ROTBLOL! --> Roll on the bed and laugh out loud!

Hong Kong - Macau - Zhuhai 2010

This time, it is a mother-daughter vacation. My mom has always been longing for the trip but we cannot decide where to go. She thought that following tour is not as free and easy as going to places by our own. She used to follow tour and complaint that she always do not have enough time to do shopping and stop longer at places she likes. But she never realised that it could be more tiring to follow me than the tour package she could easily buy from the travel agency. Ha-ha...

Actually we have fuifui, her mom and sis together in this trip. I hope they do enjoy the tour as I am the one who plan the trip. Quite stressed but I had learnt a lot!

Now, let me share a bit of the trip here. I did not bring my camera. The photos are taken by fuifui and sis.

Personally, I think this roasted goose @ 镛记 (Yung Kee) is very delicious. I love it more than the roasted suckling pig.
Must EAT!
Let me be good girl to tell you how to get there:
Take MTR to Central > exit D2 > turn right > turn left > walk across the road, keep to the right > turn into Wellington Street and you will see the big signboard!

My first time visiting Lan Kwai Fong. The guy in the photo is enjoying himself doing all sorts of pose whenever people taking photo at the road sign.
Must GO!

This is my third time visiting Ocean Park. LOL! It is a place for all ages. One should not miss the four-storey aquarium, dolphin show and giant panda habitat. The less adventurous ride that I would recommend is the Raging River. ;p
Must SEE!

I never spend money at the Ladies Market for the previous trips as I was lazy to bargain and the things there are not cheap at all. Surprisingly, I spent like HKD1000 there this trip!! OMG...I cant believe it! Now I think back, I did not buy a lot, just one handbag, 4 dinner bags, 3 sets of chinese suits for kids, some key chains, jewelery box, earrings holder and hairband. Expensive.
Must SPEND!

A short and tiring trip but then definitely another unforgettable trip. Looking forward to plan for a big family trip in future. :)

p/s: I got my 2nd pair of crocs in Hong Kong again! LOL! But this time, I bought a pair of feminine-looking crocs. :)

Went out with ccw's friend last night. Parked our car right outside a clinic.

Aden pointed in the direction of the the clinic and the following is our conversation:
Aden: Mummy, 这个是什么来的?(Mummy, zhe ge shi shen ma lai de?)
Mummy: Clinic 啰。(Clinic lo)
Aden: Clinic, Aden 要去。(Clinic, Aden, yao qu)
(No, sheng bing de ren cai qu clinic. Aden mei you sheng bing.)
(Oh! sheng bing de ren qu ha?!)
(mummy liu bi pi)

That's my little boy who has just pass his 2nd birthday last month.

2nd Birthday

This year, we organized a small family dinner at Pizza Hut to celebrate Aden's 2nd birthday.

I was really busy at work during that time. Ccw said he would take care of the birthday cake. I told him to just get a cake from secret recipe but he insisted to order a 3D cake. So, when I was traveling, he "cham siang" (discussed) with his little son what design they should get for the birthday cake through the google image search. Ccw told me that Aden has chosen the Thomas and Friends. I thought it was ccw's idea actually and I told him it would be boring to have the same cartoon every year. Then ccw had no choice but to pick another toy from Aden's collection. He squatted in front of the toys for about 10 minutes and finally picked the Mega Blocks Lil Tractor.

On his birthday, when Aden saw the birthday cake, he was happy. But after that he asked me: "Mummy, Aden de cake le?"
Me: "Aden de cake?"
Aden: "Neh, Thomas de ah!"
Me: "Oh, this year we dont have Thomas cake, papa choose the tractor cake for Aden. Ok?"
Aden: *Nod his head*

'x'!!!

Oh well.

Hair Cut

Before Aden turned 2, we brought him to the saloon to have a proper hair cut so that he looks handsome on his birthday.

From the previous experiences, he cried and struggled to set himself free from the barber. This time, the daddy carried him. I had to hold his head in position so that the barber can cut the hair and not hurting him.

We were looking at each other face to face. He pouted and started to sob and slowly cried out softly. Poor boy. So, I tried to distract him by talking about cars. I asked him what type of car he does not have yet and so on for example: Ambulance, Police Car, and Fire Engine. He paused but then continued crying when the barber trimmed his hair. Ccw then came out with better idea which is to get the reward from mummy after the hair cut. O_o

He was very good boy as he did not really struggled throughout the whole session. He just cried pitifully on and off.

After the hair cut, the daddy kept bugging to buy the toys for Aden. I don't know whether the dad wants the toy more or Aden. :S

10 years relationship

Preface: This post is dedicated to CPH!

CPH and Winnie started dating each other since 10 years ago and just tied the knot on 05.06.2010. Good date! It is so easy to remember, same numbers that appear in my birth date. Mwhehe...now they do not have excuse to forget my birthday. ^.^

I am truly happy for the couple. I really had a good time on their wedding day.

During the dinner, a gang of us went up to the stage and sang Peng You to "show off" our friendships. When fui asked me whether I want to say something on the stage before we went up, I told her no problem. But we did not say anything on the stage except for singing. Now, I would like to take this opportunity to say it here.

I know Winnie since in Transition class. We were never close back then, just the type of friend you nod and smile when you saw each other. Then in Form 6, since we are from the same school, we got together automatically and becomes real friends.

As for CPH, I remembered that I got to know this guy by his name before knowing who is he. When Form 6 first started, Amy told me that she has a friend from church studying Form 6 in our school. She hope that we can make friends with him as he is very lonely there. So, I tried to find this guy named CPH and told ccw, okk and phin about it during the orientation week. I forgot how we approached him but later we were all in the same class. Nevermind, the important point here is I love to remember the part that made him sounds like pity to be in new school. I am sure he does not like this part at all. But, this is like fate. Why of all the other new students, Amy will ask me to look for this guy? If not for her to mention his name, maybe we might not pay attention to him and we will never be close friends like now.

And, funny thing is, he has quite a number of friends from his previous school coming to our school too. He is not lonely at all! I know...it is fate that brings him to Winnie! ;p

Once again, congratulations to CPH and Winnie. :)

p/s: I wanted to post this earlier, but really cant find the time to touch my blog lately.

The gift

The Gift by Cecilia Ahern. It is a good read. Towards the last few chapters, I just could not put it down. It might not be the best book written by Cecilia Ahern but I think the message in this book makes the readers to think.

Chapter 11: The juggler

Gabe asked Lou: "You any good in juggling?"

Gabe: "I'm not a good juggler, but it's not really juggling if I'd already chosen to drop those others and keep this one in my hand, is it?"

How to be a good juggler in life? Parents, spouse, children, friends and career, which one would you choose? I doubt I could be any good juggler. How to be a good daughter, a good wife, a good mom,a good friend, and a good employee at the same time?

The sad ending makes me tears. Well, I cried easily when comes to watching movies or reading books. ;p

Rice Dumpling @ Bak Zhang

Last Sunday, my MIL participated in a "bao bak zhang" competition @ Hills Shopping Mall. She has never entering any competition before but was attracted by the buffalo cookware, all participants are entitled for 50% discount on pressure cooker.

I think the competition is very interesting. All the participants prepare the ingredients at home and then wrap 5 bak zhang on the spot within 15 minutes. They also bring along 3 cooked bak zhang with them. The judges evaluates the bak zhang based on the 3 criteria: Taste(50%), shape(40%) and decoration(10%).

I am here presenting to you the 3rd place winner - my mil's bak zhang. She did not expect it at all. Kekeke...

Overnight at my mom's place

It has been a long while since I last brought Aden stayed overnight at my mom's house.

When the night fell, I brought him into my bro's bedroom. He refused to get changed there. So, we just watched movie. Later, he told me he wanted to sleep and asked me to turn off the tv. I thought finally he knew that he was going to sleep there. But, he pointed to the door. He wanted to sleep inside "sarung", where he takes nap at my mom's house. We then transferred him to my bro's bed after he fell asleep.

In the middle of the night, I was awaken by his little voice saying: Mummy, wo yao hui jia! (I want to go home) He repeated it a few times. I tried to make him sleep but he just could not close his eyes. He called for "mommy" like every 5 minutes as if wanted to make sure that he was not dreaming. At the end, he asked for milk and finally he fell back to sleep. Poor boy!

Luckily, this morning he wake up happily. He was running from room to room and greeting everyone. Keke...

Online Document Storage

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of iSigned.com - Safe storage for your important documents. All opinions are 100% mine.

Last time, we used to do proper filing for important paper documents and put it at a safe place so that we can retrieve it back in good condition easily. But with the introduction of the digital documents we can ensure that the documents will always remain in good condition however with the growth of the digital documents, it make us have difficult time to find the files if we hide it too well in our personal computer. Now, there is the need of a secure online document storage. Do not laugh at it, we need this service. I know there are people who keep passport, insurance policies, certificates and etc in safety box at bank. This is to avoid from fire and theft. For digital documents, we might face hard-drive failure, fire and theft too. So, it is good to keep those important documents online.

Isigned_logoI have just signed up for iSigned - secure online storage for legal and other important documents. All users currently get an unlimited-period 5 document free trial. Once we upload the digital documents online, we get to access it anywhere, anytime. It offer document sharing features too. For businesses purpose, iSigned.com offer extra features like fine-grained user permission controls and detailed reporting. In the future, API will be provided so that one can integrate it with the system.

06.05.2010

Aden was sick on my birthday. Instead of going out to pick a birthday present for me, we went to clinic. After that, we went home and I spent the night replying wishes on my Facebook wall. Hehe...

Even though it is my BIG birthday this year, but it is not so happening. Lil moo moo's 1 year old birthday is merrier!
I don't have cake, so I have to borrow it from lil moo moo! LOL!

And this is the egg I had on my birthday! Yum...

Birthday is not just cake and egg. Ok, I know, there must be present! So here is the Birthday + Mother's Day gift from ccw and my little boy.
The little angel giving me the gift. Actually, he wanted to play with it when I tried to take photo. -.-"

TANG TANG TANG TANG!
Yeah, a Ben10 watch! Kakaka...it is Aden's watch. He likes to play with our watches, so we bought him one.

Let me reveal the real one...TANG TANG TANG TANG!!!
Hahah..you see how fast the little hand reaching for the watch? He likes it too!

Finally, the watch, which is chosen by Aden!
Love it! Thank you! To ccw, this is much better than last year gift. *wink*

Also, thanks to all the well wishes from friends, especially those who wish me to stay pretty and young. LOL!

Not forgetting ms pink cotton for being so wu sim, posted me a birthday gift on my birthday. That's the only gift I got that day! Which make it looks like a birthday! Thanks!! I must also thank her bf, Addo, who is kind enough to pay for the postage. When are the two of you going to get married cek?! Opps.

psst: Here is my birthday gift from her: white hot summer body mist

Now, seriously, this 30th birthday has just passed. What I want to do with my life in the next 30 years or so?
1. To stay healthy to watch my son growing up!
2. To stay pretty!
3. To stay away from fat! Now if I cant slim down, at least I must maintain the current size. Sigh. If I can find a way to tackle pimples, I should be able to find the way to reduce weight, right, right? Think positively!
4. To buy a house and build my home sweet home. This is like a dream since a little girl. Too bad, it is not as I have always imagined.
5. secret!

Show house

It is like an hobby of ours to visit to show houses in Kuching.

There is this one particular room of the house that I must visit which is the bathroom especially the one attached to master bedroom. I love to see how they design the bathroom. The bathroom vanities plays an important role in a bathroom. I need a big sink cabinet, preferably in white or beige color. The vanity top must be big enough for me to keep all my tubes and bottles. And then the vanity mirror must be big, just like what we usually see at hotels. Actually, that is what I am having now. I am quite satisfied with it even though it is not by the designer.

This is getting side-tracked. Actually from time to time, we will go around the town to visit show houses. But due to direction, latitude, altitude and budget constraints, up till now, we haven't find our house. And, I foresee that my dream to own a house when I am 30 year old will remain as a dream. Ha-Ha!

Blusher

Bought the very first blusher in my life, it is the cream-to-powder blusher from Skinfood. The one I am using is a gift from SIL. :)

Wanted to try the cream type since long time ago, but never seriously to get one until I saw it at Skinfood the other day, so decided to give it a try.

So, how does it feel like...just like applying lipsticks on my cheeks! Hahah...True! When I was a kid, my aunt used to use her lipstick to create 2 "ang-ku-kueh" on my cheeks!

Might go back to get another pot, feel like to get the light pink. @@!

'x'!

I was helping my mom to unpack her hampers the other day.

As a reward, I can pick anything I want from the hampers. And I got this...

I brought it to office.

I opened it with care because I knew there is flour. I did that successfully without causing any mess. Unlike when I was a child, I use to get the flour flying all over. ;p

Then I secretly popped one into my mouth and sucked at it happily! It is like when I was a child taking the sweet secretly in order not to let my mom knows. Only different is that I was at office so I would not want my colleagues to caught me eating it! 'x'!!!

However, after taking a few, I decided to share it with my colleague next to me! Hahahaa...I have to hide it in my palms and bring it over to him as though the other kids at the office might see it. He was really surprised by the sweet that I offered! ;p

Kebab @ The Pan Tree

Ccw and I visited this stall at The Pan Tree for a few times after we discover it. The kebab is not bad.

Kebab with chicken filling.

Kebab with vegetable filling.

The best is kebab with lamb filling. ;p Actually, the kebabs got better name, but I can't remember them. The price is RM9.80 or RM8.90.

Now, you might ask me where is the Pantry, opps I mean the Pan Tree, it is the food court located at Green Height Mall. Wow, there is a food court? Yes, it is on the 1st floor.

We had been asking friends to have lunch there and the response from our friends are basically the same. SMS-ed me when they reached the place and asked whether we are sure that there is something to eat or not. Kekeke...Besides from the kebab, there are only 2 other stalls selling hotdog/burger and Indonesian's food. Never try the food from burger stall, but I tried once on the "ayam penyek" from Indonesian's food stall, it is too oily for my liking.

Oh, by the way, the kebab stalls closed on Mondays.

My little toddler @ 19-months-old

The last update was on 17th-month-old! Let me see what are the updates for the last 2 months.

Just recently, baby Cola took the JE booster at government clinic. It is considered as the last vaccination for him. The next one will be when he turns 4 1/2 years old! Talking about the government clinic, by right we should be thankful to the government for providing the free vaccination for children throughout the country. I am very grateful to that, as we save up like more than RM1K from having the vaccination at private clinic. However, baby Cola has been meeting different trainees from the nursing school whenever we were there. The traineeswhole were always new and nervous in giving injection. It took like 1 minute to complete the injection. During the last one, baby Cola was actually watching how the trainee poked the needle onto his arm and then cried out! @@!! Well, if we never give chances to the trainees, they will never gain the experience. So, I told Aden that he is actually a great baby as he helps the trainees to be better nurses in future.

He likes to watch movie inside my bro's room. Whenever we went to my mom's place, he will request to watch movie. If I let him go and watch movie, he will say "Yeah"! What movie does he watch? Bolt, Up, A Bug's Life. So far, his favourite is Bolt! Ccw reckoned Aden likes the movie because there are all sorts of vehicles besides from dogs and cats and pigeons in it!

My little boy also like story books with vehicles and animals. He will listen to story that we told him based on the illustration. If you wonder whether the little head knows what we are telling him, the answer is yes. When I asked him what does the picture means, he will tell me what is going on.

He can pick up whatever we teach him quite fast now. The book I bought him on transport, he can almost recognize all except for one or two. Sometimes, he got mix up between the fire engine and crane, if I corrected him, he will sort of like convince me that he is correct! Sometimes, he will tell us that he wants to see a concrete mixer truck and we have to drive him out and look for one! Luckily, we have a lot of concrete mixer truck in Kuching! LOL! Sometimes, when he saw ambulance moving on the road, he will request us to follow it! I think ambulance should be one precious transport because it is like "now you see, now you don't" type of transport. We stopped by the roadside so that he can watch how the excavator and bulldozer works. Is that all boys are like that?! Lately, he told me he wants to "sit sit" bulldozer, excavator, jeep, and any other vehicle he sees on road!

He likes animals too. Maybe each animals can make different sounds and that is why he likes them. So far, he knows cat says meow, dog says "ong ong", cow moos, chicken says "kok kok kok", and goat says "mei mei".

Bought him a straw cup. He can now drink from straw. So now, he can try the packet drinks. ^_^ He only tried chrysanthemum tea and soy bean because we seldom buy other drinks than "kopi". So, Aden always had kopi. ;p

He also learn his name and his parents' names. Sometimes, he will walk to me and call me by my name! 'x'!!!! It took quite long for him to learn his own name compare to other vocabulary that he learns, I wonder why.

I love the chit-chat session with my little boy at night the most. I always ask him about his day. When I stop asking, he will start new topic like "gong gong". Then I will have to tell him where is gong gong. Then he will continue and ask about everyone else in the house. Sometimes, he will tell me what they are doing. And then sometimes we will randomly pick and call one of the persons he mentioned. He will he will talk to the person. kekeke...we ever made a call to gong gong who is at his friend's house, and Aden told him to buy kueh tiao. Gong gong was shocked and asked me where to buy kueh tiao at late night. LOL. Ya, Aden loves kueh tiao. He will cheer if gong gong bought him kueh tiao for breakfast! Then there was once when Aden wants to call jiu-jiu to call him by his name after I taught him, but the Lee's family is really "ciak-lat", from jiu-jiu to mei-mei to wai gong to 2nd jiu-jiu to 2nd mei-mei, none answer the call. So, we have to called my young sil at the end. Aden told her that he did not want to sleep when my young sil asked him why he still not sleep yet. Then out of the blue he called out shu-shu's name (sil's bf), he knows that shu-shu is with my young sil even though he did not make a noise. I also always doubted that he knows he has 2 jiu-jiu or not when I told him about jiu-jiu as one of my bro is not in Kuching. So, I teach him to differentiate the 2 jiu-jiu by adding their names in front.

Some phrases that he can say:
kai men (Open the door)
bu yao an an (do not turn off the light/dim the light)
qi lai (wake up)
bu yao ong ong (do not sleep)
zai jian (goodbye)
wo bu yao zhe ge (I do not want this one)
See you
Thank you
good morning
good night
xia da da de yu (rain heavily)
bu yao work work (do not go to work)

Bulat, Pink Cotton and Me!

It was an unusual Saturday afternoon.

Dated pink cotton for lunch that afternoon.

Went to Bulat's house since it was still early.

Asked Bulat whether he would like to go out with me not. He said: No.

Then when I wanted to leave and asked him again, he said: OK!

So, my mom packed his stuff. A bottle of water, a milk bottle, milk powder, a set of clothes and lampin.

Then we went to pick up pink cotton.

We chatted a bit inside the car until PC got into the car.

Bulat kept quiet.

I ordered a plate of roasted chicken rice to share with Bulat while pc ordered sandwiches.

Bulat kept looking at PC's sandwiches and french fries until PC bei tahan to give him 1 french fries.

After finished his rice, he walked around again and stopped by PC's side, looking at her plate again. Poor PC! I know she was struggling whether go give him or not as I told her that he might puke if ate too much of french fries! 'X'!!! Luckily, Bulat was alright after eating it.

Now, Bulat is longing for me to invite him go out! LOL!

Bumper Car

In my memory, I was only introduced to bumper car when I was a teenager.
I never take any bumper car ride before because I was too shy to play with the kids! 'x'!!! I ever ride on bumper boat though, it is more like a grown-up activity. hahah

Last weekend, we brought Aden to Hock Lee Center Entertainment Park. This is the second time we brought Aden there. Naturally, ccw accompanied Aden rode on the bumper car for the first time.

This time, ccw asked me to take the ride with Aden. He said that the car seemed t move slower when he rode on it. So I laid down my pride and went into the rink with Aden. Ccw took photos.

We went home, ccw showed his parents the photos.

Then, I heard them talking about "ME" riding on the bumper car happily instead of Aden. Ccw told them I never ride on any when I was a kid! Of course, my pil are surprised upon hearing what he said. My fil came over and started to recall where he brought his kids to take the bumper car ride in Kuching last time! >.<|||

I took a look at the photos, I was smiling in every photo! ~,,~

Okla, I was very excited as I got the chance to ride the bumper car FINALLY!

p/s: CCW used to tell me that driving automatic transmission car is like driving the bumper car, to which I always reply him that how I know it is like driving a bumper car? I never ride one before! Now, I know!

I got the certificates!

Not sure whether you still remember that I took 2 courses last year, I talked about it here.

And now, I got the certificates! Kekeke

The children development course is quite interesting and I completed all the homework. The Chinese Literature is quite tough. I actually gave up and did not submit homework for the last 2 lessons!! Meaning that I only completed 8/10 of the courses. Hee...I am not sure why I can still get the certificates!

Anyway, let's celebrate!

Baby Cot

I have no idea why I snapped this photo. But it looks cosy even though it was messy!
And that is where baby Cola sleeps every night. He said it is his "chuan" which is suppose to be "chuang".

chuan = boat
chuang = bed

Nescafe got new products again - Ipoh White Coffee! It is so thick and "arhhh", I give it 5 stars!

Sometimes, if I behaved well, my mil will prepare me with lovely breakfast. For example: the chinese new year cake! Oh, I love it! ;pppp

Yum!!

Lunch at nearby cafe. The heart-shaped panini was my order last Thursday! ^.^ A simple cut and arrangement cheered me up!

Ribbits!

Hehehe...my new collections!

Let's welcome the yellow toad!

Green batik toad!

Brown batik toad!

Ribbit! Ribbit!!! Kekeke...Besides from toads, I got tortoises too!!

The green "angku kueh"...
They are so cute, right? Hehehe...

Another one, the head is senget which belongs to a special species according to the shop owner. ;p Opps...Ok, those toads and tortoises are not mine!

I went to the opening of Aquatic Kingdom located at 4 1/2 miles, the shop lot opposite 688.

The shop is actually selling kois. Since it is newly open, do not miss the chance to get the promotion if you are interested in buying kois. You will get good discount even if you only buy one!

Look at the nice flower arrangement with fishes!

Last but not least, guess what is inside this photo!
Tip: they are definitely not the chocolates bar!!!
