Happy Chinese New Year

It is the 3rd day of CNY already. So fast, not even have time to do the countdown posts this year. Few days before CNY, was busy doing shopping for new clothes and making some seaweed snacks. I think I break a record this year, bought the last piece of clothing 2 days before CNY. LOL!

The day before CNY...
Cleaned up my room, to be exact, I only cleaned up my computer desk, one of the racks and the dressing table. Hmm, they are very dusty and messy. During the cleaning process, found the shells given by friends with their signatures during F6. So sweet. Also found the yellowish photos that are supposed to be given to vampirem thousand years ago. Actually, there is another envelope with photos for Marvin. Too bad, we lost contact with this friend already. Have been throwing away my highlighter collections without second thought as they are just sitting there collecting dust. Anyway, found a good way to clean the dust especially for those who have very sensitive nose. Use the magiclean wiper sheet, ya, the one we used to mop the floor. The dust will stick onto the wiper sheet nicely and the dust wont go tickle your nose. ^_^ It did not take long to clean up everything and the result is even better than cleaning them with a wet cloth.

Bro flew back and reached home before 5pm.

As for the reunion dinner, we have had a normal one. That means no BBQ or steamboat. Mama cooked all the dishes by herself. A very delicious dinner with steamed prawns, curry beef, mutton and shark fin soup.

Later that night, we gathered at @pple's house to celebrate her birthday with her. Ccw made a cake for her. kekekeke...We did not stay long there.

After that, spending time with family and watching the beautiful fireworks on the sky. Slept around 1:15am.

First Day of CNY...
Wake up around 8 am, went to downstairs and got my ang paos from parents and sil. Hahaha...then my bro and I also gave Bulat ang paos. Our first time giving ang pao to the younger. Then we had the photo-taking session with Bulat. He wore the "tong san" clothes.

We went visiting which ended at 5pm. Some random photos...
I like this pot at auntie 1's house.

Nice green plant outside uncle 5's house.

Red rice lemang at uncle 6's house.

Kek Hua at auntie 5's house.

Pamelo and oranges at my house.

Watched Protege at 10:45pm.

Will continue with second, third day some other time. Tata...

Somewhere Red

"dong dong dong chiang" brought us to this place on last Saturday night. We met at KFC @ 7th Mile at 7:30pm.

After about 25 minutes car ride, passed through 2 road blocks, we finally reached the place called Turn Red Restaurant.

The place is very pretty. A very big space, with trees decorated with bulbs, and have both indoor and outdoor eating place. We chose a table at the outdoor space and surrounded by darkness. Got the feeling of inside a jungle.

According to sandbox, there is a camel somewhere, well, actually there is the Turn Red Zoo too. It is closed at night. Hmm...i think they can consider to have the Night Safari there. Anyway, besides from camel, I am not sure what they have though.

Only managed to snap 3 presentable photos there, the rest are too dark!

Got the name card and here are some information to share with those who are interested to visit it. I think it is quite a good place to go when you feel like to run into a jungle. ;p

The address is Lot 30, Jagoi District Land, Jalan Bau / Serikin. It is just 3 km away from fairy cave, meaning 3 km before you reaching Fairy Cave from Kuching.

The opening hours would be as below:

Turn Red Restaurant
Tuesday - Friday
5:00pm - 12:00 am

Sat, Sun, Public Holiday
12:00pm - 12:00 am.

Turn Red Zoo
Everyday 9:00am - 6:30pm

5 things that you dunno about me

Tagged by ah boy.

Being tagged by ah boy make me feel very kinteo! Ya, I very scared of ah boy ma, so must finished this as soon as possible.

Before that, pink cotton warn me do not simply do the tag, must do it with patient. Ok la, I try to be good girl to tell you some secrets.

1. You know? Ok, I know you do not know. I know there are 2 dogs in this world HATE me very very much without much reason. :( This upset me more than you can ever imagine.
*a^ben starts to play violin as background music*
Long long time ago, it is about 18 years ago (no, this is not fairy tale, this is real life story of mine and yes, it is very long time ago), my cousin's family is doing the catering business. On a one fine day, I followed my cousin to deliver the the food to a neighbour's house. When we reached the house, my cousin put down the food container at the front gate and took the empty one. Suddenly, there were dogs barking furiously at us. Then, I saw 2 short-legged dogs running towards us! *RUN* I ran as fast as I could. The dog owners saved my cousin while I still running for my life. I ran too fast that the owner could not stop me. He yelled at the dogs trying to stop them from chasing after me like mad. But the dogs never listen to him, I doubt they understand our language. I ran across a road and jumped onto a pedestrian. I cant remember what had happened after that. All I can remember is that the pedestrian has SAVED MY LIFE! *SOB SOB* Otherwise, there would be no redsponge here today.
So, I do not understand why the 2 dogs HATE me so much until want to eat me up! I mean my cousin did the same routine everyday, the dogs never bark at her. When I went there with her, the dogs chased us. *sigh*
Luckily, there is no car passing by when I ran across the road. Otherwise...tsk tsk tsk...redsponge mati katak on the road already. *touch wood* Well, maybe I manage to jump over the car like what Jacky Chan did in his movie and become famous female Jackie...hehehe...
*take a look at ah boy*
muu...still got 4 more to go! Better do it fast before ah boy starts to growl!

2. People always thought that I must have been bitten by dog before and that is why I have fear of it. But NO, that is not true. There must be some kind of sickness like phobia towards dog. This one need to consult chen to get the scientific name for that phobia.

3. I am a helpless kid when there is dog(s) that is one cm away from me. You might see me SHOUT~~ JUMP!!! RUN!!~~, etc!

4. Whenever there is a dog a meter away from me, I would send out signal to the one next to me that there is a DOG.

5. Default conversation between my mama and me when there is a dog near me. I think it is due to the reason that my brain does not function properly and cant think of any longer sentence. And same thing goes to my mama. She always repeat the same sentences too, I think she is scared also! HMPH!
Me: DOG, there is a dog!
Mama: You dont show that you are scared!
When dog is getting closer and close
Me: DOG is here!!!
Mama: You dun be scared! It wont bite you!
Me: I am scared la!

Done!

*Throw pai kuat FAR far away so that ah boy will run away*

And, I just want to tag or2ng3s.

Mama's orchids blossom again. Hehee...mama is very happy as CNY is coming soon! The orchids will automatically become decoration for the house. ^_^

I was attracted by the orchid yesterday and took some photos for them. Found that the buds are different for each type of the orchids wor.

1. The bud is like cocoa.
and the flower is like

2. The common bud that we found on the artificial orchid.
and it's flowers

3. Hmm...the bud tells the colour of the orchid also...
the yellow flower

4. These buds, which look like banana are bigger compare to the rest.
This morning, I saw the flowers...

Doggie Joke

Last night, before I fall into sleep, I thought of this joke.

When I was working in Brunei last month, I stayed at my colleague's place. Her husband and another 3 colleagues of mine from other department @ Kuching were there too. They were there earlier than me. In short, we are kind of strangers to each other.

The 3 colleagues are very noisy one, I mean they are very active and naughty la. So, one of the them is my schoolmate last time. He is the joker all the time.

Then one evening after work, my colleague's husband brought us (in a 7-seater car) to the KL, border between Brunei and Limbang (it is Kuala Lxxxxxx, I cant remember already), you google it and let me know. We were there to renew either the car or the husband's passport lor.

On the way back, after we had filing up our stomache with RM instead of the Brunei Dollars, we were very happy lor. We were chit-chatting and joking in the car. In the middle, my colleague was telling her husband something about their 2 doggies at home. I think she was telling him about how obedient the dogs are as they wee wee and poo poo on top of the newspapers or something like that.

Then this schoolmate of mine sitting at the last row suddenly interrupted and said:"Eh, the name of your dogs are so cute?!" Being polite, my colleague replied him by saying:"Really, thanks!" Even tho I am not a doggy lover, since he said the names are cute, sure I would not want to be left behind, so I asked what their names are. My colleague told me. The names are quite common la, but I cant remember already. But what my schoolmate said that made us laughing all the way back.

He said:"Eh, I thought you said that they are Wee wee and Poo poo, no?!!"

ROF!

Then the other colleagues started to teasing him that he might name his children Bong Wee Wee and Bong Poo Poo next time!

Hahahahahahaha...But, well, the Wee Wee and Poo Poo are indeed very cute names, if your children do not mind to be teased.

"Wee wee and poo poo go toilet!"
