One of Andy Lau's fan

Shocked after reading the news about the dad of Andy Lau's fan committed suicide just to fulfill his only daughter's "dream" -- private meet with Andy Lau.

Please read the 2 related news.

In short, the daughter is Andy Lau's fan. The daughter's only dream in life is to spend some time with andy lau alone. She is jobless and depends on the parents totally.

The parents are willing to sell the house and borrow money from the relatives and friends just to accompany the daughter to Hong Kong so that she can meet Andy Lau.

The parents are ready to do anything until finally the dad chose to end his life and threatened Andy Lau to spend time with his daughter alone. Otherwise, he won't "close his eyes".

Crazy?! Insane?!

I don't know.

This is indeed a very very very sad news.

The family, which left only the mother and the daughter, blamed Andy Lau for the tragedy to happen.

What is his fault to be?! The daughter is upset by Andy Lau when she got to take photos with him during the fans gathering in Hong Kong. Andy Lau told the girl, see you next year.

The daughter claimed that he is cruel to treat her like any other fans from Hong Kong. She thinks that Andy Lau should treat her better, at least chat with her since she had been striving to meet him in person.

That is UNREASONABLE!

Maybe she has never work hard for anything else in life. She thought that she must achieve something in return after putting a lot of effort into it. She never know that there are a lot of times that we get nothing no matter how hard we work in life. This is the parents' fault! They should let her work and earn her own pennies! They should teach her lessons in life earlier instead of hoping things will change after their daughter gets to meet Andy Lau.

I am not trying to protest Andy Lau. It just happened to be Andy Lau's fan and I got to read the news.

The whole thing is RIDICULOUS.

How could a dream when a person is 16 change a person's life after that? This daughter dreamt Andy Lau when she was 16. She quitted school since then. All that she did was Andy Lau related stuff after that. Yet, the parents allowed her to do so! They cannot bear to see their child to suffer, OK, is that what we call "suffering" when your child wanting to meet a star but she cant reach for him?!

She told the reporter that she wanted to tell Andy Lau that she is not an unfilial daughter. I wonder what she has to say for that.

To Yang Lijuan, Please learn to love yourself. I sincerely hope that you can start your new life.

Bukit Mata 25

Top Spot Food Court has a number of seafood stalls. However, I always visit the same stall: Bukit Mata 25.

It is belonged to ccw's best friend. Whenever we book a table, he will sure reserve the table by the pool side for us. Of course, he will reserve the meaty seafood for us as well.

Now, after having so many yummy dinners at his place, I decided to blog about it. So, I brought along the camera, and reminded myself and ccw to take photos for each of the dishes. Mwehehehe...this is a very difficult task for the 2 of us who love to eat so much.

Here are some tasty dishes from the stall:

1. Buttered Egg Yolk Crab
Ok, this one is taken in Jan when Chin Hsien visited us.

2. Buttered Sotong Ring
So butter, so sotong.

3. Steamed Lobster
I do not know how to make this ugly creature to look good in photo, but don't get fooled by the photo. It tasted like a lobster. ROF! Now, I really do not know how to describe food like those hosts on TV. Just try it. But one thing for sure, you can imagine that you are eating 10 fresh prawns in a bite. Does it sound more towards "jijik" than delicious?

4. Ojien
Woo...it is crispy. Never have enough of it!

5. Sea Cucumber Soup

6. Hong Kong Kai Lan

Anytime when you have trouble to choose a stall from Top Spot Food Court, just go ahead and order from Bukit Mata 25.

Summary of CNY

Third Day of CNY...
My bro wake me up and brought Bulat to me. He got rashes on face, neck and arms. Well, my mama fed him with half-boiled egg. Poor boy. Can a 9-month-old baby take egg yolk yet? Or he has an allergy to egg? Luckily, he is alright now.

Having another round of visiting to friends house in the afternoon. And we went back to our secondary school and took some photos there. The school is very different now, especially the canteen. Yeap, it is quite weird to visit school during CNY.

Forth Day of CNY...
Visiting the girls' houses. Like previous years, we gathered and had breakfast at Or2ng3s's place. The next stop was Pink cotton's house. We were served with her favourite drinks - Shandy. Then we headed to Oink's house and helped him finish up the "jiu hu". Mwehehehehe. We skipped 13th panda's place this year. Next we moved to apples's house. I think he was a bit shocked to welcome us on the doorstep. Anyway, happy to be able to make him busy serving us. haha. When they were at my house, I forced them to take photo with Bulat individually. All passed the game except the 13th panda. She has no confident holding a baby and Bulat knew it! He showed the face and 13th panda decided to pass him to Oink before Bulat cried. ;p We continued visiting and this time we were at ccw's house. We had the BIG keropok, the type bigger than your face. Just a while, or2ng3s recieved a phone call from the office and had to leave us. Poor girl had to work on CNY. The last house we visited was silver bell's place. Hahaa...spent the longest time there, looking at her photos and even played a few round of card games before we decided to go home.

Fifth Day of CNY,
Started working...
At night, having a dinner with friends at Thai Restaurant. We actually wanted to book Yue Shanghai, but it was full. I do not really enjoy the food from Thai Restaurant. Anyway, we did "lo sang" with yu sang until everything was in a mess, then only stopped playing and ate it.

However, I was delighted when I found out the dessert served was my favourite durian puff. Durian...taste so nice ;p

Sixth Day of CNY...
Went out with Hung. Having great time in catching up with each other. We had so much to tell each other that we decided to turn off the engine and sit inside the car outside her house to continue chatting after chasing out from the Italian Cafe at BDC at around 10pm. We finally agreed to put a fullstop for our chatting session at 12am.

7th Day of CNY...
Lui Cha Day. Yum yum...invited 2 honoured guests for the feast. Too bad, they did not enjoy the meal. Dine at Magenta with my family at night with multipurposes: bro #2 leaving the next day, celebrate bro #1 and sil's birthday! Hahaa..

8th Day onwards...
Working...Hahaa!

15th Day of CNY...
Enjoyed myself looking at the colourful fireworks on the sky!

Why I blog?!

Tagged by Pink Cotton.

Give 5 reasons why I blog.

1. Requested by Pink Cotton. Mwehehee...She said it is fun to blog together, and I think she is right. We get to know each other really well through blog. Muahaha

2. Give a surprise to Pink Cotton. Actually I rejected her request because I totally have no idea what to blog. But then the naughty me decided to create one just to "kacau" her.

3. Check out what a blog is. Everyone is talking about blog, so I am also curious to see how a blog work and some more I do not need to pay a cent to do that. So, why not?

4. As an external hard disk to back up parts of my memory. I always think it is fun to read back what you have done in the past. So I keep as much as my everyday stories as possible. I hope that blogspot has a long life. I cant imagine if one day, this external hard disk get corrupted.

5. Freedom! Last but not least, I have my own space. Post up anything I like without judging by others whether it is worth to be posted or not. I am the one who DECIDE whether it is WORTHWHILE or otherwise.

I tag 13th panda, or2ng3s, selba, velverse and pinkwinnie! ^_^

The Great Desktop Challenges

Tagged by Chen.

Very outdated tag, I know! I admit that I forgot to do the tag. See, I am very honest, right? So, loktor cannot punish me! (kkkkkkkkkk)

OK...fasten your seat belt...

TANG TANG TANG TANG!!!!

CHIU!!!!

*throw eggs*

*throw vege*

*throw shoes*

That's my desktop, not even bother to change the wallpaper. I keep thinking to reformat it, so...ya, wait till I reformat it then only do decoration.

So, there are 3 shortcuts to games: Sims2, cake mania and mahjong. Most of the folders contains photos. And there are even some photo files on desktop without any folders. Yeap, I think those are the few icons that I access most frequently. The rest should be group into the Unused Icon folder. This is after the spring clean version. Before this, the folders are actually all over the place (unorganized) and some are overlapping each other.

I am too shy to tag anyone for this. ;p

Second Day of CNY

Let's CNY!!!

We took turn to take photo with Bulat who put on the England Soccer Team uniform, including soccer jersey, short and the socks (official colours as show in the image below).

Photo taken from FIFA worldcup official website.

And some people said he looks like...

Photo taken from FIFA worldcup official website.

Not David Beckham, but Wayne Rooney (left in the photo).

Visiting to friends' houses in the afternoon. Friends that we had visited: Amy, Fui, Vampirem, Adipos, Sandbox and Happy Heart! This year, we took photo at each house so that we can always refer back. Haha..

Hiak hiak...decorate the flowers for Amy's new apartment with CNY's feel. Yup, finally manage to give her the flowers after 2 months sitting at my house and collecting dust.

Pai-tee and mee siam by Vampirem's mama! Like the pai-tee so much! ^_^ Erm, mee siam is abit too spicy for me! ;p

Visiting ended at around 6pm.
Exhausted.
