To make this short, I went to Pizza Hut on Wednesday. It was my dad birthday, so my mom asked me to buy a pizza when I off from work. Her order is one large Hawaiian X-tra. When I reached Pizza Hut, I found below:

A'la Carte price for a large Hawaiian X-tra is RM25.90. Ok..it is a normal price.










But when I looked further down, I saw this:

One of the pair deals: 1 large Hawaiian X-tra + 1 large family favourite pan pizza only cost you RM31!!






OH!! I had a hard time to decide which to buy! Add another RM5, I can get 2 large PIZZAs! What an OFFER!!!

Before I ordered, I double-checked with the waitress on the price. And she just nodded her head with smile.

Finally, I placed my order! Guess what was my order?





1 large Hawaiian X-tra and that's all.



I am mama's good girl, I always do as she has told. After all, there are only 5 of us, 1 large pizza is more than enough.

During the dinner, I told them about it. And, NGONG is the word they called me. *sob sob*

By the way, THUMBS UP for the Hawaiian X-tra!

If you want to try the new pizza, just get the Pair Deal 2!! No worry if you cant finish it, because you can always have it as breakfast the next morning, or give a pizza to someone who like it. It is not easy to find a NICE GIFT for anyone which only cost you RM5, you see? Ya, that's what they told me WHY SHOULD I BUY PAIR DEAL instead. ;p

Busy At Work??!!

Let me do some brief description on my workspace.

Basically I am given a small cubical (estimated size is 200cm x300cm, hee I use the short ruler to estimate the size 'x'). Inside the cube, I have this computer desk, a side desk, a rack (3 holes) and a chair. So I have computer, calendar, tissue box, paperssss and some stationary placed on my desk. Oh, not forgetting my COFFEE cup! =) I will make myself a cup of NESCAFE~ every morning.

Whenever I need a break from work, I will start to find other things to do. But...what can I do inside the small cube? Hee...

Of course, sometimes I play the games such as spider solitaire or minesweeper to take a rest. But sometimes it just makes my brain work harder!! So...I found another way to relax myself.

I draw!! I like to draw using PAINT! This is the only entertainment that I can find it here. So I would like to publish some of my creation here! 'x'


The cactus once I brought to office to protect myself from the monitor radiation. However, I brought it home already as I find that it cant survive here. Maybe it cant take up the pressure.


I kept some fish after university and during the job hunting period. I miss them when I started to work.


This is the latest creation. A voice inside me told me that I can draw crayon shin chan all of a sudden and so I try to draw it! Not too bad eh?? 'x'

hahaha...maybe it is a wrong idea to publish them here!!

Umbrella

It is a raining day again.

So I thought of umbrella. How many umbrella does a person need?

I have an umbrella in car. Whenever going out, if it is raining, I will pull out the umbrella from my car. It is so nice..

I have an umbrella at office. Whenever it is raining during lunch hour or after office hour, this umbrella will be useful.

Of course there must be another umbrella at home. This umbrella is a reserved. So that before going out to either office or other places, there is an umbrella to use. You might not want to use the umbrella in the car if you are walking around in your neighbourhood. And sometimes, you can lend the umbrella to someone else too.

So, my conclusion, each of us should have at least 3 umbrellas.

Your Future

I have been a counselor to my 2 cousins who has just got their results for SPM and STPM. What course should they take up?

10 years back, the students complaint that never get a chance to choose what course to take up. Because that time, parents rules. During my time, say 5 years back, I have the chance to make my decision but still have to go through my parents. Today, the students are allowed to make their own decision. It is fantastic, isn't it?

They would consider a lot of aspects before they make their decision to go for the right course. The RIGHT course here referring to a course which is:

1. an Easy course
2. a Short course
3. Job promising after graduate
4. Income promising
5. Affordable fee
6. Available at university/college at certain location

My cousins have a lot of high quality questions to consult me like:

• What profesions do you think have higher demand in near future?
• What profesions can earn more money?
• Which local university is good?
• etc

Ya, very standard questions to ask and I can give them the same standard answers like:

• The profesions that have high demand and with high income: doctor, lawyer and marine engineer.
• Good local university: University Malaya.

But, is that what they want? I dont think so. If that is what they want, they might as well let the parents decide for them.

If you have the choice to make the decision, you should apply for a course that you like or interested. It might take 3-4 years for you to complete a course, but you will spend 30 and more years working in that particular area.

Once my cendawan besar (my papa's eldest sister) asked me: Can you cope with your job? And I told her: yes, quite ok. After she listened to my answer, she was quite relieved and said: Good to hear that. If you are doing something that you are not very good at and always facing problem, for sure it is very torturing.

She is right. You would never learn the word 'tension' if you are doing something that you like. Not only that, you would also take the initiative to do research and improve yourself from time to time. And all these can help you to excel in a certain field. If you are not doing something you like, you will never have the motivation to expose yourself to that area.

Here, my only advise to my dearie cousins (and those who come to the cross road on how to choose a course): Choose something you like and interested if you have the chance! You can do it! Well, if you do not have a choice, never give up! Since we know the fact, even we do not like it, but we still have to put double effort to love what we do until d-day when we have the POWER to choose again! =)

3 Days away from Computer

Have not been touching any computer for 3 DAYS!! Was on leave since Thursday and my pc at home is...hee..'x'

Anyway, my pc is back to life now!! YIPPIE!! Hmmm not sure what my technician did tho...THANKS! =)

The feeling to touch the keyboard again is a little bit weird. LOL!

So guess what is the first thing I do using a computer after 3 days?

NO 1. WATCH drama!! YAY!!!! LOL ... 4 more episodes to go!!!

And

NO 2. VISIT redsponge!! Hmm to the tell the truth, the feeling is abit weird. It is like a stranger! 'x' Maybe, something has happened and there are some changes in me and ... . Erm, what I am trying to say is that through this blog, only I realised that there is something different in me. Yikes...this is very abstract and not easy to explain but that is what it is!

Quarrel with my PC

Yes! Last night, we have a big FIGHT!

PC: Can you stop watching the Korean Drama???!!! I have HEADACHE!

ME: NO, I want to finish it tonight! I have borrowed it from my friends since...dunno when! And I want to borrow the SIMS2 CDs from them, SO i gotta finish the drama in order to borrow the SIMS CDs!! GOT IT??!!

PC: I AM GOING TO SLEEP! BYEBYE!

PC suddenly restarted!

ME: ORK??!! What happen?? (worried but still continued to watch the drama)

The situation was like this: The PC kept shutting down and restarting by itself and I was getting angry until wanted to give it a slap!

Finally it collapsed!! CIS!!!

HMMM...a stupid night! I do not understand HOW and WHY I got so angry with the PC!! It is not a living thing pun!

YAY!!! I GOT A B3 FOR MY COUSIN's BM!!! LOL

AM PROUD!

In fact, I only got a A2 for my BM few years back, so my 'student' get a B3 is very good already!

Looking for a BM tutor??? Look for ME!

p/s: khik...okla..it is my cousin get a B3, not me. It's him sit for the exam, not me la. LOL...

MILO panas kecil

GUESS how much does ALL JOY @ Saberkas charge for a cup of MILO panas kecik?? RM1.90!!!!! It's so KECIK o!!

GOSH! Is that it is always very expensive? I seldom order MILO outside and today suddenly feel like to drink MILO. I could not believe my eyes when I got the receipt and found that it cost RM1.90!!!! OMG!

Kopi Peng only costs RM1.20-1.40 ler!! Aiyer...I will not order Milo next time!

3.8 Day

March 8th is the International Women's Day. It is a special day to me too. I am not sure how my friends and I had make it become my 2nd Birthday during our school days! LOL

I suggested to them that next time, when we buy cars, we will make sure our car plate numbers consisting the number 3 and 8 so that I can recognise my friends on road easily. Years later, now, we bought cars but do not bought the 38 car plates. When I chose my car plate number, all the people: uncles, aunties, papa, mama, etc said NO! Halo halo...It is ME buying the car ler. *sob sob* However, we still got either a 3 or an 8 in the car plate la!

It is easy to turn something into a bad or unpleasant state, eg: 38 which is, erm, just putting 2 innocent numbers together and associate it to some irrelevant description which is kepo ma (busybody). Then ppl starts to get angry when being called 38. Even now I think there are people do not really understand why is there suddenly a 3.8 Day. They might link it with kepo ma. In fact, the 3.8 Day is the Women's Day! To me, we should celebrate it for the reason we are of the sex called female. If 3.8 should has a meaning, let's make 3.8 = great women who have been struggle for equality, justice, peace and development. I always feel relief that I am born at the right time. We are all human, regardless sex and race. The differences between each and every individual exist to make the world become a more complete and wonderful place. The concept is as simple as rainbow is beautiful because it is colourful(got it from one of the song by Beyond).

Previous years, the birthday wishes would fly in as if it is MY BIRTHDAY! You got what I mean? HAHA..And I even received some present on this big day few years back. Of course, I would have to remind everyone about it!!

This year, day passes by so quickly that I do not even realise that it is March 8th already. So, I waited for someone to send me some wishes since that morning.

tick tuck tick tuck

At night, received 2 sms: one from winnie the pooh and the other one from an unknown number. LOL. Both are forwarded sms and does not mean to wish me Happy Birthday. At least, got something la! Then the next morning, got another mail from bf, it is a surprise that he remembered. Because normally only friends will play this game with me! LOL

Anyway, wishing all the girls, ladies, women, mamas, neneks: HAPPY 38 DAY!

If I have a house

OK! Today, I went to the florist shop. Again, I tipu my bf to buy me flowers. LOL..

I love flowers!

We planned to buy the red african daisy, but no stock wo. So, we asked the tauke nio what she has and she led us to the big FRIDGE. We almost went into the HUGE fridge to choose the flowers. But the tauke nio decided to take the flowers out, she dun want us to get sick. There are not much choices, roses, calla lily, medallion lily and some other small flowers like forget-me-not. After looking at the flowers, we bought 1 stalk of white calla lily and 2 stalks of the greenish calla lily and some forget-me-not to ZNG them.

When I reached home I quick quick asked mama to get me a vase, erm, as usual mama will keep away my toy after I have fun with it and I will have to ask her where is it the next time I need it. 'x' So, she found me the vase. I filled it up with water, cut the stems to become shorter and put them all in it. Then mama asked me where I wanted to put it. Then I shrugged and said "Dunno". Then, I thought to myself, "Next time when I have a house, I will put flowers on the dining table!" Hee, I actually said it out LOUDLY! Mama just curi curi smiled and the flowers are now on the dining table.

Haha.



So, when I have a house next time, I will put flowers not only on the dining table but also inside the kitchen and living room! There would be some plants inside the toilet too. 'x'

Birthday.Gathering.Meaningful Activity

There is a gang of us, I cant tell the exact number of how many of us. There should be alot of us, but due to the geographical distances, the number of active members is changing depends on the type of activity that is going. Example, there would be more than 20 persons during CNY period. However, there would be only 7 person on the regular Friday lunch.

This gang of people here are very close friends. They are secondary schoolmates. In fact, they are the combination of a few smaller groups in secondary school. Maybe, I should elaborate abit on the history.

The small groups of people are berpecah-belah after F5. Well, everyone is pursuing dream at different places like College, University, F6 and Society. And then most of the members from the small groups continue their studies in F6 and they are arranged in the same class. They participate in the same clubs and hold all the posts available. Since then, they studied together, organised club's activities together, planned outing together, celebrating birthday together, etc. After F6, most of them went into the same local university but took up different courses. Some of them repeating the same thing happened back in F6, which is to participate in the same clubs and organise activities together. There might be some slight changes that had happened, but they still gather together on each other's birthday. That's how the close relationship developed until today.

Now, we are all working at different companies. We keep the tradition to gather on each other's birthday. Whenever someone's birthday draws near, we will call up each other to plan for the birthday. Some would volunteer to buy presents, some would volunteer to buy cake. We set the venue, date and time to gather and SING the birthday song! I would like to take this opportunity to THANKS each and everyone of you to accompany to celeb my birthday with me all these years! I cherish every birthday that had spent with you all! It is our friendships that colour the first page of my new age.

Till here, maybe you would want to know why I suddenly talked about this gang of people here. On the last gathering we have had, we decided to name this gang of people by setting up a club (erm some sort like that)! The very first name given is BIG RED FLOWER club or HIBISCUS club, in mandrin it is DA HUNG HUA HUI *yucks* HAHAHAHAH...Anyway, I think there is no doubt that Red Sponge would become the mascot of the club! Okla, the big red flower is not a fix name yet la. It's an example, but if we really cannot think of a better one, then we will have to use it! LOL

The initial objective of it would be very simple: while we are celebrating birthdays, we will help others in need at the same time. We have not discuss in details how we are going to do that, but one thing for sure is that we try to do something meaningful during our gathering.

Hmm...does the whole thing arise because of we miss the time to be the AJK of a club back in school days?!! Just kidding!

Friday

Yoga class is back after a long break! WHOAH, this time, I paid the monthly fee! HMPH *proud* Previously, I only paid class by class cos I takut I might give out half way ma.

Waiseh, we did alot of new poses today! Most of them are quite difficult ler...For example, I cant reach my toes with my hands when I sit down and bend forward :(
Then the insructor said: Those who cant reach their toes, just hold your leg (as far as you can reach la), do not bend your leg. Sad ho? haha

I have DRAWN 2 new poses I did today! 'x'

Picture 1 shows the correct pose and picture 2 shows how my legs hang in the air while I try to push them to the other side. 'x'

Picture 3 shows one of the funny poses. Lie down on your tummy and hold your legs, then start to move forward and backward, also move to both sides. kekekeke...I like this one, rolling on the floor like a bu dao weng.
