Moving into week 32 today!

By right, second pregnancy could have less excitement, since I have gone through the process once. However, that's not the case. Partly, it is because of my son's involvement throughout this pregnancy. His companion has added some spices on this journey. Also, the doctor is giving us surprise.

From the beginning of the pregnancy, my son acts like a big boy and is proud to announce that he grows up already and going to become a koko. He will do things like a big boy because he is going to be a koko. For example, he can drink from cup or has bigger appetite and taking more rice. Later, he also show that he cares about the baby. For example, he will talk to baby at night or whenever he remember about it. He will ask me or directly to the baby what is she/he doing?

Now, towards the end of the pregnancy, he is even sweeter. I bought some clothes for baby and told him that I am going to show it to waipo when we were at home. But I forgot to bring them when we were on the way to waipo's house. He suggested we turned back to take it! Then later, when we went home, he asked me if I remembered to take the clothes. Imagine, after one whole night playing at waipo's house, he can still remember those clothes!

My mom washed the baby clothes and ready for me to sort out and bring back. Aden saw me sorting out and then putting them back into the bag, he quickly offered to help me despite of he is a abit clumsy and mess up the nicely folded baby clothes. He also insisted to help the dad to carry the big bag of clothes from the car into the house.

I am so blessed.

As the surprise from the doctor, during week 23 scan, he told us that our baby is a boy. It took me a day to get over it as I am hoping to have a girl. I know it is not what I can choose but there is this hope.

During Week 29 scan, doctor scanned and told us that it looks like a girl that I am having! I do not put too much hope in it though and I told Aden that our baby could be a girl. But, we shall wait till baby is born to know the gender. Aden is like a real big boy! When my mil asked him about the gender of the baby. He answered her that we need to wait till the baby is born to know is didi or meimei. Can you imagine the little boy who is only 2yo+ telling this? Hehe..

At Week 31, I asked the doctor to check on the gender again. He told me 90% is a girl! We once again call our baby meimei. The thought of not having any girlie clothes/items at home urge me to go for shopping! I hope this is not just a dream.

The doctor also put a remark on the report book saying: Normal fetal growth rate. This is also make me feel relief. As I monitor the growth, I noticed that the estimated weight is always less than Aden's. I am worried that the baby is small as I know that baby's size could be less than the estimated weight. Well, I am not hoping that my baby is big size, but at least around Aden's weight when he is born.

I am glad that my bb is doing well.

8 more weeks to go!

To meimei,

Papa, mummy and koko are waiting for you! Koko has even tested out the musical toys and they are still functioning well. Don't worry, you got new one too! =)

My Birthday 2011

My pil brought Aden to the bakery and bought me a cake.

At night, when we returned home, ccw asked Aden what he bought for me.

He skipped in excitement. He told me to close my eyes while walking into the room to take the cake.

I was so surprised that he actually told me to "close my eyes"!

Then, come the cake. He sit together with me while blowing off the candles and cut the cake as if it was his birthday! He really enjoy birthday with cake!

Later, while eating the cake, he asked whether I closed my eyes when they sing birthday song. LOL! No one singing birthday song! So, I have to tell him that no one is singing birthday song, so I did not close my eyes!

Oh, he is such a darling!

As usual, my birthday is too close to the Mother's Day. On my birthday, we actually celebrated Mother's Day at my grandma's house together with my aunties and uncles and cousins! There are about 70 of us. My mom and aunts decided to cook my grandma great meal this year. My grandma has 13 children, 7 daughters and 6 sons. So, each of the daughter prepare 1 - 2 dishes. According to my mom, my grandma seldom has chance to eat what they cook, so they just decided to play with "masak-masak" this year!

Each family will have to bring their own plates and rice as the aunties claimed that it is the easy way for themselves to estimates how much rice is needed! This is such a cute and warming gathering. I was looking forward to it!

Well done to my mom and aunties! They are all very good cook! Nice dinner we had!

Aden fell sick on my birthday! Last year, he was sick too! I wonder why?! This year, it took him about a week to recover! My poor boy! I was really exhausted as could not get enough sleeps at night.

Lastly, I just wish that everyone stay healthy especially my new baby! :)

My son's first 3-words English phrase

Yesterday morning, before ccw brought Aden downstair, he turned to me and said: 妈咪,等下你睡醒你下来ha。 Mummy, you come down when you wake up later.

I replied him: "Ok."

Then he said: "See you later."

I am surprised by him even though we have been using this phrase since he is small, but never really make him to pick it up. This is the first 3-words English phrase that he used.
