I am depressed.
I witnessed with my own eyes at a kopitiam that a mother alone brought 2 children. She put the elder one on the high chair and the other other baby girl inside her pram. When they wanted to leave, the mother carried her baby girl while the little boy still sitting on the high chair. He was very worried the mother might leave him there and making noise and using his eyes to beg the mother to take him out. Yet the mother still trying make fun of him by asking the waiter to carry him out! I do not know how the mother can carry both, but it makes me sad.
Few weeks ago, the video clip on how the maid kicked and stepped onto the little girl at home makes me feel sad enough.
Last week, I watched a news in Taiwan where the dad threw his own baby girl into the hot boiling water and the baby girl died yesterday! Tears just dropped when I watched the news on TV.
What is wrong with the world? I can still understand how can a maid mistreat the little but not this one - where the dad killed his baby girl!
A space for people who are close with me in heart yet far apart by distances and also people who are close with me in distance yet too busy with their own stories to share my everyday stories.

Back from KL!
My first time leaving my baby son at home and traveling away over the weekend. I am so happy to be back with him again!
It is the 27th of April yesterday. Not a special day to you? Well, rumour said that Andy Lau is getting married with his girl friend on the date at Berjaya Times Square, KL. All I found at Berjaya Times Square yesterday morning was a LONG QUEUE outside the newly open Krispy Kreme! Too bad, I did not take a photo of it as ccw suggested to me. Otherwise, I can show it here in my blog.
This afternoon when I distributing the chocolates to my teammates, they asked where I went. So I just jokingly told them I went to KL to attend Andy Lau's wedding reception. Well, one of them said: You never read in paper that he has canceled the wedding?!
Sigh...some people can catch the joke very quickly and throw it back to you! No fun!
Anyway, this trip is basically serve the same purpose as the trip to KL 3 years back. The difference is that this trip I bought more stuff for baby Cola. ^_^

Busy week
I decided not to post up my toes. They do not look good.
But I have something else to show.
I happened to visit Unimas during lunch hour today and so happened that I went to the toilet near the cafe (I am not sure how many cafe there is though ;p) and found the huge flush button on the wall!
So far, this is the biggest flush button I ever seen in my life!

Playing childish games with my nephew Bulat
Last Saturday, nephew Bulat took my hand and said: Kuku, ni geng wo wan hao ma? --> you play with me, ok?!
Kuku: hao~, ni yao wan shen me? --> Ok! What do you want to play?!
He led me to the living room and instructed me to sit down. He gave me the McDonald A Bug's Life wind-up toys which are shushu's collection. 'x'!
But since most of the toys are "rosak" already, so I think of another game to play with him. I made 2 of the grasshoppers become grandparents and stay at home. Then 2 of the rhinoceros beetles go to work, 2 of the ladybugs go to school and 1 baby ladybug sleeps at home. Nephew Bulat looked at me playing with the toys and laughed. When I was telling stories about the 2 working rhinoceros beetles, he asked me what the 2 grasshoppers were doing. He laughed when I told him the baby ladybug was crying for milk and the grasshopper made milk to feed the baby.
Then I saw Flik, the ant carrying green leaf with backpack, it is a pull back toy. I told nephew Bulat that they packed their bags. They were going to fly to Penang. So, I put the 2 ants onto the plane and pretending that the plane flying the ants to Penang. I think nephew Bulat has a lot of fun watching me did all these.
Now I think back, I forgot to add myself into the stories!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Forgot who introduced the masak-masak game to nephew Bulat, he started his little business since last weekend. He open an eatery shop. The menu has spicy kolo kueh tiao, spicy fish, chicken rice, and etc. He kept asking what I want to eat and cook for me. He gave me spoon and asked me to eat. So, I pretend eating the food he cooked! Then he looked at me eating, and all of a sudden he pointed at me and said: JIA JIA CHI DE! --> You are PRETENDING TO EAT!
Of course I am not REALLY eating the toys, but what he said amuses me!
Outing on Saturday evening
We went to the Sama Jaya Nature Reserve on last Saturday. It collects entrance fee, RM0.50 per adult. Children below 6-years-old is free. Please do not expect any view of the forest park in this post, I only snapped a few photos of grasses, leaves, and flowers.
It is a way to let baby Cola gets closer to the nature.
No, we did not push baby Cola into the jungle tracking trail.
We just took the opportunity to breath in the fresh air, rest our eyes on the greenery and expose to the sunshine.
It is good to go outdoor once in a while.
Also, I got the chance to play around with the DSLR. I give up in picking up this skill already. Haha!
Of course, it is the best time to take photos for baby Cola too! Without flash, only the day light can help me capture clear and pretty photo of him. Luckily, he loves outdoor activity too! Well, the outdoor activity is just sitting inside his stroller and observing the surroundings with his eyes. Kekekeeke...
This Little Piggy
This little piggy went to market
This little piggy stayed at home
This little piggy had roast beef
This little piggy had none
And this little piggy went "Wee! Wee! Wee!" all the way home
This little piggy stayed at home
This little piggy had roast beef
This little piggy had none
And this little piggy went "Wee! Wee! Wee!" all the way home
Ever heard of this nursery rhyme? I learnt it from the nephew Bulat's toy given by ccw. Nephew Bulat loves the part "Wee! Wee! Wee!" very much when he was still a little baby. It is ticklish to him by just listening to it!
~~~~~~~
I love to count baby Cola's toes and tell him that he has 5 little toes on his foot.
"1, 2, 3, 4, 5, five toes!"
I always start counting from his big toe.
~~~~~~~
Yes, this post is about toes! And I have ingrown nails on both my big toes!
They hurts me!
I googled for ingrown nails last night and found the article from Wikipedia.
"Symptoms of an ingrown nail include pain along the margins of the nail (caused by hypergranulation that occurs around the aforementioned region), worsening of pain when wearing shoes or other tight articles, and sensitivity to pressure of any kind, even the weight of bed sheets or a duvet. Bumping of an affected toe with objects can produce sharp, even excruciating, pain as the tissue is punctured further by the ingrown nail. By the very nature of the condition, ingrown nails become easily infected unless special care is taken to treat the condition early on and keep the area as clean as possible. Signs of infection include redness and swelling of the area around the nail, drainage of pus and watery discharge tinged with blood. The main symptom is swelling at the base of the nail on whichever side (if not both sides) the ingrowing nail is forming."
Yes, I am suffering from all the above for months!
I was still thinking to wait for the nails to grow out then the problem might gone.
But, I read the below from Wikipedia:
"Most practitioners agree that trying to outwait the condition is nearly always fruitless, as well as agonizing."
OMG!!!!!
Now, I do not know what I am waiting for.
Read on what will happen if it is left untreated from Wikipedia:
"If an ingrown nail is left untreated, there exists a high risk of dangerous infection. When the skin around the nail gets infected, it begins to swell up and put even more pressure against the nail. Ingrown nails can produce a spear shaped wedge of nail on the lateral side of the toe which will progressively become more embedded into the toe tissue as the nail grows forward. In the worst case, the swelling will begin putting sideways pressure on the nail, causing it to grow at a slant. This will cause both sides of the nail to eventually become ingrown and swollen. Eventually the swollen parts of the skin will begin to harden and fold over the nail. An untreated ingrown toenail will cause a person to walk with a limp, which over a long period of time may cause further pain and injury to the foot, leg and back owing to improper distribution of weight. Other non-direct effects of seriously ingrown nails include lack of exercise, constant and unrelenting pain and pressure which is often extreme and debilitating when weight has been on the foot for an extended period of time, the spread of infection, loss of appetite, inability to move around, and psychological effects (like anxiety, stress and feelings of despair).
An untreated infection may also lead to a condition known as osteomyelitis, where the infection spreads to the bone of the infected digit. Once in the bone, the infection is more difficult to remove and may require the intravenous treatment of antibiotics. One should always consult a doctor when infection is present. Amputation of the toe, foot or leg may be the final outcome if the infection is left untreated long enough for gangrene to set in as a result of a foot ulcer, most common on people with diabetes."
AMPUTATION! NO! NO! NO!!!!!!
I never know that ingrown nail can be so serious! I just hope my toes recover magically! :(
p/s: Wikipedia understands what I am going through so well! I am so touched!
p/p/s: I just learn that there are special tools for ingrown nails such as ingrown nail lifter, ingrown nail clipper, and toe cap! I think I need the toe cap!
