MNG, this is the baby bear that can fart. Hee..when you squeeze it's tummy part, it will let go of a sound (not gas, k? =))...and it sounds like farting according fel! LOL!!!

My LOVELY cousins

While searching for my previous photos taken at Gunung Serapi, I found some photos that I should post earlier but I did not.

Anyway, I will do it now.

Last year, I had been travelling to Miri for work purpose twice. I have some relatives there, both papa and mama side. First trip, I met up with my papa side relative. My cousin and his wife came to hotel and brought me to my auntie - cendawan kecil's house. Before leaving, my cendawan kecil told me that she will try to prepare me some dinner before I leave. HEE...so I was like: "oh no no no..no need! I just came for a visit and I am not sure what time I reach hotel after work. Do not get yourself busy, ya?" Smiling and shaking head at the same time! LOL! Not that I do not want to have dinner with her, but but but...paiseh ler! How can my AUNTIE cook for me, right? Anyway, she did call me up the day before I left and telling me to go to her place for dinner. But still I thanked her but did not go to her place.

Then during my second visit, the 2 cousins from mama side (one of them is same age with me and the other one is 2 years younger than us) decided to eat at home instead of going out. So they asked me to join them. So I just joined them, lazy to walk for milesssss to have dinner already. My hotel is just 5 mins away from the place they stayed.

When I reached their place, they had already finished cooking. And OMG! They can really cook! Well, you know me, I am not good at preparing meal. So here, I took photo before we started to eat.

They can prepare steamed fish and prawn. 'x' I think they are so pandai la! Of course, they cooked the easier dishes like bilin and corn soup too. The only thing bought outside is the bbq chicken wing. By the way, look at the plates, the couples used the same plates lo! Booohoohooo, I was so lonely! LOL!!!

According to my cousin #1, shabu shabu is quite popular in Miri. She brought me to try out. At first, I was still thinking: eee, why shabu shabu in Kuching close down one by one and it can survive in Miri? hmm

Then I realised, the shabu shabu in Miri is abit different. They provide 4 different flavours for soup: seaweed (free), tom yam, chicken and oopss forgot the other one already and they charge like RM2 for these soup. We do not have seaweed soup here. They also have more variety in their menu. I cant really remember the menu but basically besides from meat set, seafood set, vegetable set, mixed set, there are side orders like fish ball, meatballs, dumpling, etc.
Each set of the main course will be served with either noodles, rice or tang hun. Oh, I miss the noodles!
And the important factor - everything is fresh. Unlike the one in Kuching, the vegetable and meat they serve here are always like have been put in the fridge for at least 3 days. OH YA! The special self mix sauce! Yeap, fresh food and sauce are the 2 main things in Shabu shabu!

Kubah National Park

On Sunday, I woke up early in the morning, as early as 6:15am. Pulled and dragged myself to get out from my bed. Date with my bf to bring his 3 cousins to CLIMB mountain, together with his sis and her bf! At first, I thought I shud go and help looking after the 3 kids: 2 monsters and 1 princess. And my bf kept assuring me that those kids wont go far. Erm, I dont like hiking. So, I just applied yoko-yoko on my cramped leg and went with them.

On the way to our destination, I found out that my bf's parents and auntie were going too! *Sigh* My Sunday Morning...*uhuk uhuk*

So those kids behaved themselves quite well all the way in the car. They ate horlick sweets, polo, etc. They were so excited. Bf's sis and mom prepared some sandwiches earlier that morning. They are so GREAT! And I curi one piece (kiwi juice + cheese) inside the car.

We reached the destination at 7:00am.

Gunung Serapi, which is 2988 feet, is located in this national park.

Hee...mendaki gunung is not my favourite activity, therefore I might not have much to say here. Just to show you some pictures.

Once we reached, we unloaded the backpack and porches for the kids. While waiting for them visiting the toilets, I took a photo for the orchid ousite the toilet.

Then we started to conquer the mountain! 'x'

The TAR ROAD that we were CLIMBING! PANDA! Okla, no play play, even TAR road is not easy for people who has very lousy stamina (like me) to reach the summit.

So we walked, walked and walked...finally we saw the signboard writing 400 ft, then we decided to take a rest. We took out all the food and started to picnic. There were 3 types of sandwiches: kiwi + cheese, cheese+ tuna, ham + tuna, dragon fruit, kuih-muih...LOL!!! After eating, instead on moving towards the summit, we decided to head home! HAHAHAHAHAHA...

That's the end of the so-called "climbing mountain" activity la! LOL!!!!

Okla...since this entry is about gunung serapi, i will show you some photos taken last time.

I had been there twice before this. The first time, I managed to reach the summit and took some photos. The views from the summit:


There on the summit, I told myself that there are places that we do not need to revisit in a lifetime! hahahah...

Then, why I visited it again? Well, my colleague told me that there is a beautiful waterfall. So, I decided to go again!

And we did not use the TAR road but the jungle track. So worried that there were snakes somewhere. Din see any snakes but met a few leeches! BOOHOOHOOO...But luckily I wore my thick jeans!

At certain stage, we were forced to cross the slippery wood as shown in the photo below...

KEKEKEKE....just kidding...we actually crossed the river using a wooden bridge.

Just realised that I visited this gunung serapi once a year since 2004.

Saturday

I work as a part-time babysitter on Saturday, 8:00am - 5:30pm.

Basically my day passed like this: make milk, change lampin, entertain bulat, make bulat sleeps, feed bulat...Hmm I think that is it.

Oh ya, I sleep when bulat sleeps.

Boring ya?

Hmm...actually 13th panda and her oink visited me this morning...13th panda insisted me to introduce her as pretty girl to bulat wo...kekekeke...!!! And oink oink stood far far away from little bulat...khik!

Oh ya, my left leg is aching...It cramped last night while I was sleeping. *sob sob* This is the second time my leg cramped in the middle of the night. What cause it cramp? Could it be when the temperature is low? muuuu...painful...I almost cried out "aiyok aiyok" like bulat.

Anyway, going to have an outdoor activity tomorrow. Uh-oh, where is my sport shoes?? Ok..I think I cabut now and find the shoes first. Need to wake up the latest by 6:30am tomorrow.

Wake up early this morning, planning to do some works before attending the meeting this morning. When I open up my mailbox, there I have 1 new mail and it says that the meeting is postponed to next week!

So I just earn myself an hour extra on this lovely Thursday. Why? Cos I wake up an hour earlier ma! Hee...

Cute Rabbits

Got these photos from my bro. He went to erm somewhere in Pahang, if not mistaken it is Bukit Tanah Tinggi. There is a rabbit farm with lotsa long ears animals. And I just have to post up the adorable rabbits in my blog! Hee...I hope my itchy hand does not spoil the photos. LOL!

Mangosteen Season

OMG...I have never seen so many mangosteens available in the market. It is like ppl selling langsat. Waiseh...I love mangosteen alot.

After so many times passing by the mangosteen stalls, I decided to buy some during the weekend. I seldom eat mangosteen as my parents told me that it will cause death if one drinks coffee or eats anything sweet after eating the fruit. I am not sure how true it is but still make me trying to avoid eating it even though I like it. Ah, then last night, I ate mangosteen lo. I thought it would be safe to eat at night as I wont drink coffee during night time. Later that night, I drank some ice kacang bought by my koko. OMG, I took sugar. I only realised it before I fell asleep. Duh, can you imagine how torturing it is? I was so sleepy already but still worried that I might not be able to wake up this morning. I kept feeling each part of my body to ensure I am alright and until...finally I fell asleep. And...I wake up again! Sheesh ... so scared. But, is it true that cant take anything sweet after eating mangosteen?!! Yikes...When I told my parents this morning, they still dare to laugh at me. ~,,~

okla, since I told you the silly joke already, I might as well tell you the other one caused by mangosteen also.

Last Friday after work, when my bf and I walking towards the car, we passed by a lady who was eating the fruit. Haiyer, I can hardly control my saliva. *Slurp* Then my bf said:"Hey, she is eating the mangosteen, you want some?" Oh, I quickly nodded my head and thinking inside: 'x' he is so nice, must be bringing me to buy some now. Before I started to skip my way to the car, he continued:"You want? You ask the lady, see whether she is willing to give you one or not!?" @#$#^^&*! He has changed! If it was few years back, I am sure he would buy me the fruit once I see it. *sigh* Anyway, a surprise to me that he can joke like that too! LOL!!!!

p.s. So sorry no photo to show you the stalls available and the dirty mangosteen look that I ate. They arent appear in purple color like the one we used to draw back in school days, they are abit brownish...dirty dirty like that. haha!

Let's see how can we wash away Monday blue...

This is a forward mail that I recieved today and the source is unknown. I find it quite meaningful.

Sigh...in order to let pinkcotton to be able to understand the mail, I have to do translation. As usual, I try my best to translate it as accurate as possible, but just add in some seasoning. 'x'!!

There was this newly-wed couple lived in poor. One day, the husband told the wife:"Dear, I am leaving for work. I will only return when I can provide you with more comfortable living. One thing that I would want to pledge you for is to be faithful when I am not around. I will be faithful to you too."

Many days later (hmm normally we read from stories it is a few days later), the husband was employed and worked in a farm. He made the employer to agree with his only request: "Please allow me to work here as long as I want, when I feel like leaving, you let me go. And you pay me on the day I leave."

So, both parties agreed in this.

There, the husband worked for 20 years without any LEAVE (OMG, only happens in tales).

One day, he told his boss: "I want to go home already."
Boss said:"Ok, I will do as what we have agreed earlier on. But I have a deal for you. You can choose to have either the money or 3 advices from me. Think about it and let me know."
2 days later, the husband went to find his boss and said: "I want advices."
His boss reminded him: "If I tell you the advices, you will not get the money."
The husband said: "Yes, I want the advices."

Boss told him:"
1. NEVER go for shortcuts. Unknown shortcut will kill you.
2. NEVER curious towards something that could be bad. Otherwise, it might take your live too.
3. NEVER make any decisions when you are filled with anger and revenge. Otherwise, you will sure regret."
He continues:"There are 3 loaves of breads here, 2 for you to eat on your journey home. As for the other one, you can share it with your wife when you reached home."

After being apart with his beloved wife and away from his hometown for 20 years, the husband was on the way home.
One day later, the husband met a man. That man said:"This path you took take a long time to reach the destination. I know a shortcut. It will only take you a few days." The husband was so excited. When he was about to travel on the shortcut, he remembered the first advice from his boss and he returned to the previous path he travelled along. Later, he realised that the shortcut told by that man was actually a trap that had been set up.

Few days later, he was tired of travelling. He found a hotel and decided to spent a night there. After paying, he entered his room and slept soundly. He was awaken by a shrieking voice in the middle of the night. He jumped out from the bed and decided to go outside the room to find out what has happened. Just when he had open the door, he remembered the second advice. Therefore he went back to sleep.

He wake up the next day and after having coffee, the hotel owner asked him whether he heard anything the night before. The husband told the hotel owner that he heard it. Hotel Owner:"You are not curious?" The husband told him that he was not. Hotel owner said:"You are the first customer that is able to leave the hotel without being killed. My only son has mental problem. Last night, he shouted loudly to attract the customers get out from the room. Then he killed and buried them."

The husband continued his journey, finally he reached his home on one evening. From afar, he saw his little hut with smoke coming out from the chimney and his wife's figure. Although it was getting dark, he could see that his wife was not alone, there was a man resting his head on her laps and she was touching his hair gently. He was VERY*100 upset and wanted to kill the both of them. He took a deep breath and walked in fast pace towards them. And he thought of the third advice, he stopped.

The next morning, he had calm down and told himself:"I cant kill my wife, I must get back to my boss and beg him to have me working for him again. But before this, I must tell her that I am still the faithful husband of hers."

He knocked at the door, the wife open it. She flung herself into him and hugged him tightly. He wanted to push his wife away but he didnt. With tears inside his eyes, he told his wife:"I keep my faith for you but you have betrayed me..." The wife was shocked and asked: "What? I have never betrayed you, I have been waiting for you for 20 years, booohooohooo (hee add in effect)."
The husband:"Then who is the guy at our house yesterday afternoon?"
The wife: "He is our son! When you left, I was pregnant. And he is 20 years old now!"

The husband entered the house, hugged the son. While the wife was preparing lunch, the husband told the son about his experience during the 20 years. Then, they had the bread together. When he splitted the bread, he found money inside - the money he had earned during the 20 years.

Hee...games I used to play when on a PC without other games intalled.

A game which you do not have to wait for it to load.
A game then can be ended at anytime and you wont have to worry whether you have save it before closing it.
A game that you can relax your mind abit. haha

So that is the game that I can play on my PC at home now (no internet ma).

Bottleneck

First, I am busy playing my role as kuku. But after a while, I am trying to get back to my LIFE 'x'. Hee...I mean how could my lovely nephew disturb my normal life. RIGHT? RIGHT? I am sure that is not his intention to be here. PANDA!

Next, when I finally have time to sit down and enjoy my blogging life, I realised that I have problem to get the internet connection! The cause is unidentified yet. It could be
1. streamyx down
2. my router/modem KONG by the thunders
3. my network card got problem

Finally, I am lack of a digital camera. Whenever I want to take pictures on something, I have to borrow camera from someone and by the time I got the camera, the mood is like 50% gone already. =(

I am not froggie (I)

This one should be something new to people who know me for ages.

What is the relationship between frog and I?

HmMmMm...I have to admit that I like the cute ceramic frogs and my bf bought me 2 of them.


He wants me to sleep soundly at night. I always cant sleep well at night because Ithought I heard some sound. Cant blame me, my papa's fishes in the aquarium and our shoes which put on the rack outside the house always stole by someone at night. So scary!

And the other one...hee no need to explain la!


Then on one Valentine's Day, he bought me this toad. I am not sure what happen that time, i just love this ugly creature. So that's all the frogs I have at that time.



And now...I have a collection of frogs 'x'

Story is like this...I work as a developer in an IT company. When I first enter this company, I was trying to be healthy. I brought along my little toad (the only green soft toy I have) to my little cubicle at work so that I can rest my poor eyes by looking at the green stuff ma. And that's how my dear colleagues thought I love TOAD! FROG! KATAK!

Not even time can kill those, except for the brilliant minds. but wer to

the rain has finally stop......tinkering on the rooftop. the frogs are
croaking away oblivious to anything....especially one particularly cute
frog. hugging her pillows, wishing she has bugs to kill. Oh look at the
time......how it goes by quickly.....

Announcement

Have been quite busy taking care of my little nephew lately. I think I will have more time to blog from now on!

Ya...I know it is not easy to be KUKU. Hep! Cannot be naughty! Kuku means auntie in mandrin. hmmm Btw, it is fun to introduce all the relatives to Bulat and figure out how he should call them in proper/respect way. And...we find out that he has quite a number of AUNTIES and UNCLES at the age below 10 years old! Khik! And of course, he has a lot of koko and cheche at my age!

By the way, Bulat called out KUKU yesterday. Muahahahaha....

Bulat greets you all: "ang guu..."

Bulat is recovering now. Still taking the antibiotic and panadol prescribed by the doctor tho.

Relief - the word to describe my feeling.

The whole thing dragged for about one week.

On last last Friday, my parents bring bulat to Timberland as he vomited what he ate. Bulat was then admitted to Timberland because of fever. Doctor said baby will not have fever, must be causing by some infections. So the doctor make bulat's parents to sign an agreement that they will not bring bulat elsewhere before he is cured. Then the doctor took bulat's urine, stool, blood and Cerebrospinal fluid (CFS) for tests. Poor bulat had to suffer all these cruel treatment.

Later that day, the doctor told us part of the results, everything seems to be ok with him. But the truth is bulat is still vomitting. We kinda force the doctor to explain it but she told us that it is normal when baby is sick. @##$%$%^$

On Saturday, we thought Bulat was getting better as he started to eat without vomiting that morning and afternoon. But that night, he vomited again.

On Sunday, Bulat's parents started to lose their patient and questioned the doctor why bulat still vomiting. The reason we sent bulat to hospital is to find out the cause of vomiting. But the doctor was like ignoring us when we asked about that. Then that afternoon, the doctor decided to do body scan for bulat. Finally, we know what happen to bulat which is hyperthrophic pyloric stenosis. The doctor directed bulat to SGH (Sarawak General Hospital) immediately that afternoon.

CIS...we were so worried! we were told that bulat needs to undergo an operation! A baby and an operation were 2 different things and I do not how they could be related to each other in such a short times.

So we all rushed to SGH. We were welcomed by the nice Doctor Farizah (Forgive me if I spelled her name wrongly, but she is a sweet doctor.)and nurses there. Never do I imagine the ppl at SGH are so helpful and friendly. By the way, it is the Paediatrics Department.

On Monday, the only doctor in Sarawak (she is a middle-aged Indian lady) who knows bulat's case came and examined him. The doctor then decided to carry out the operation that evening. Fast, right? Then little bulat was pushed into the operation room at 5:30 and we saw him again at 9:00pm. Drips are running through his body. But he looks healthy.

That night, he cried out: aiyok aiyok aiyok...And the nice nurse gave him some painkiller to sooth the pain.

He is discharged from the hospital on Wednesday (which is 2 days later).

Sorry and thanks to everyone who has been sharing our worries during those few days.

Special thanks to the doctors and nurses at the Paediatrics Department, SGH. I must say that you have been doing the GREAT jobs!
