My weekend

So grateful to have MY weekend again! =) I was working like a dog during last weekend. Ya, after you lose something, you will appreciate it more.

As usual, spent some time with Bulat. I see some changes in Bulat, should be the brain development especially in the area of thinking. He will make noises to attract our attentions when he finds that he is alone. He is always quiet and looking around at a new place. He will kick his legs when he get excited. Hmm...ya, he is always excited when we bring him outside the house. I just realised that he has also learnt to "tell" people that he refuses to go back into the house by crying abit when reaching the door. *ROF* Today, after a walk outside, I brought him back into the house. When I reached the door, he started to cry. My parents were laughing and telling me how bad Bulat is. My father even took out a chair for me. hehe...

On Saturday night, my parents attended a birthday dinner while sil attended her colleague's wedding dinner. My bro and I having fun to take up the responsibility to look after Bulat. Both of us are not experienced in taking care of Bulat at night. SIL is the one that makes Bulat sleep at night. My mama would take over the job when SIL is not available. After my parents and sil left, the 3 of us stayed at home watching TV. At around 7pm, I changed Bulat's clothes and we went tapao some food. On the way back, Bulat's fall asleep. My bro suggested to put Bulat into the swing downstair so that we can eat first. But I decided to put Bulat into his crib since he wanted to sleep. So, once reached home, I brought Bulat upstair and placed him onto his parents bed in order to get him changed into his pyjamas. Then I saw him looking at me with a smile. DUH...he is awake! LOL. I have no choice but to bring him to downstairs again while my bro and I can have our dinner. After dinner, we brought him into his room again and played with him. He then slept at 8:45pm.

Besides from Bulat, I visited my friend's new house, erm a double-storey apartment. It is a cosy apartment for the couple.

Tonight, my mama and I went to Everrise to do the monthly shopping. I bought the ANLENE chocolate milk powder. I am such a health-conscious person. My cousin's wife had broken her leg few months ago. After hearing the news, I had a nightmare where a lady fell down and broke into 2. :( I decided to drink milk! By the way, the taste of the ANLENE chocolate flavour is like the Hot Chocolate from Elephant cafe. ^_^

I seldom dream but I have make quite a number of nightmares lately. Anyone can tell me why I always have nightmare which is always seems to be impossible to happen in real life and yet they are so scary~~~???

Anyway, it is 12:16am, it marks an end to my weekend.

There is always another one...coming soon!

Good night!

A Battle of Wits

Andy Lau's new movie.

The official website: http://www.abattleofwits.com.hk.

This movie is about Mohism's philosophy of Universal Love and Condemnation of Offensive War.

Value life.

I love the movie, not only because of Andy Lau but also the story itself.

Mickey's Cookies

One day, while I was walking along the padungan street with a few friends, someone suddenly appeared in front of us. Quite shocked, but almost burst into laughters when we saw who was standing in front of us and promoting the tin of cookies in his hand.

"tak tak tak tak tak tak tak tak tak.................."

Well, I did not get him, even a word. Haha...Poor boy, he was sweating. By the way, he is my friend's younger brother.

Later, we extracted the information through the Q&A between ccw and him. He was actually selling the cookies that he was holding. According to him, that day, there was an offer. Normally the price is much more expensive.

So, ccw bought a tin from him.

Mwhehehe...^_^...Do you see the Mickey Mouse? LOL!

Never tried the cookies before, it is not bad! Quite delicious.

Eating delicious cookies could brighten up my day too!

*****************************
Self-entertaining...

AHA...I found the last piece of mickey's cookies in my PC today.

Some tricks must be done onto it before it goes straight into my tummy!

Give mickey two eyes and a nose.

Give mickey a mouth so that he can smile...=)

HmmmMmMmm...

There is something missing ho?

Ah...this is the Mickey Mouse.

However, its face looks naughty.

Should add in something else...

Patio

Patio -- defined by thefreedictionary

1. An outdoor space for dining or recreation that adjoins a residence and is often paved.
2. A roofless inner courtyard, typically found in Spanish and Spanish-style dwellings.

I love Spain.

Photos taken at Patio, The Terrace Cafe @ Kuching, not in Spain.

I love the patio-feel but not the food there.

Four things about me

Tagged by 13th Panda.

In fact, I did a similar tag earlier, click here. After comparing the 2 tags, the only difference would be the first part.

So I decided to bargain with the panda and imagine the conversation below:
Me: Panda, can i do the firt part only???
13th Panda: *rubbing chin*
Me: Pleaseeeee....
13th Panda: Hmm!
Me: Oh thanks, panda!

~ Begin ~
Four jobs I have had in my life:

1. Tutor - while waiting for STPM results

It is a children day care center. The owner hires a tutor to help the children who has started schooling every afternoon. During that time, there are 2 primary 4 kids, 3 primary 2 kids and 4 primary 1 kids.

Until today, I can still remember all the 4 cute little angels in primary 1 vividly.

Dylan, the fair, chubby, cute little boy. He is both lazy and talkative. When he is not in the mood doing homework, he will start to rub his eyes until they turn red. Poor Boy 'x'
Sometimes he makes too much noises and I have to scold him, he will POUT and show u the i-am-gonna-cry face. His chubby and blushing cheeks make me want to cubit him alot. He is so cute with the big butt swaying when he is trying to run 'x'!!!

Fa Qiang, opposite of Dylan, he is dark, skinny and quiet boy. I am not too sure why is there such a kid who is so quiet. Somehow, he is abit slow in learning. I have to pay a lot of attention to him. Otherwise, he might just cant finish even a page of writing within 2 hours.

Angel, AW...Once, this chubby girl fell flat onto the floor when she accidentally got trapped by the schoolbags on the floor. AND...BLOODDDDDDDDD! I mean her nose was bleeding!
OMG! BOOHOHOOOHOOOOO...blood was everywhere: on her hands, on her face, on her shirt, on the floor...MAMAMIA...ok..Dear Angel, I was very scared that time. :( Luckily the owner and other helpers are there. Anyway, she is smart and hardworking little girl. ^^

Claire, a beautiful name for a small sweet and cute girl. She talks softly. Even though she is still a little girl, I believe she is going to grow up as a pretty and gentle lady. I just have to hug her sometimes. Wahahahaha...However, this girl seldom smile. Guess why? The 2 front teeth of hers were missing and make her looks funny when smile. *giggle* I think her gigi sudah tumbuh balik by now.

I miss the kids 'x'!!!!

2. Clerk + tutor - while waiting for SPM results.

I worked at a newly open tuition center. "Busy" & "Low Pay" are all that I can remember.

My job scope is WIDE:
- collect tuition fee and issue receipt to the students
- doing all the photocopy works (must shrink 2 pages into a A4 paper)
- refill the white board marker (hmm...FUN)
- answer phone calls (sometimes 2 phones rang at a time)
- promote and explain the packages that the tuition center offer (I only realised that I am not bad in acting/persuading/convincing the parents)
- prepare the attendace sheet (No play play, sometimes I have to bring work back to do because there is no computer at work)
- give tuition to 2 naughty boys (the boss asked me whether I want to give the 2 kids private tuition, he will pay me extra. I was like huh? Giving "private" tuition during office hours and earn extra, not bad ho? Then, later I discovered the extra is RM100 where my boss charged the kids RM400 monthly! Sheesh!)
- make sure the students do not run across the road after tuition (Tell me, how to keep an eye on all the naughty kids?? GRRRRR...)

As for the working hours, I worked from 8am -5pm for the first few months. Later, my boss requested to extent my working hours to 8pm. I have forgotten how much he paid for the extra working hours already but not much!

This job taught me alot indeed.

3. Current Job - while waiting for xxx results
hahaha...Do not know what is the results that I am waiting for.

4. ...

Done!!!!

Yeah!!!!

I am free from the TAGSsssss....

Happy!

Before & After

Pinky piglet created a new tag again.

Before I create this blog, I have no idea what to do with it. After it has been created, I decided to keep it as my diary.

Before I start to blog, I planned to have it as my diary. After blogging for few months, I think it is not secure to keep an online diary. However, I still continue to blog some interesting events happen in my life which might not sound interesting to other people.

Before I do any tag, tag seems boring OPPS! After doing a few of the tags, I had changed my mind. Instead tags make me "think" alot.

Before I am 20 years old, I have not even a pair of high-heels. After that, I fall in love with high-heels.

Before I use contact lenses everyday, I always think that it is very troublesome when come to removing them. After 2 weeks trial, I found that it could be quite easy when I learnt the right way to remove them. ^^ (Thank you *POK*).

Yeah...

Before and after!!!

DONE!!!

Sematan

Went to Sematan during the Raya break.

Besides from Santubong and Damai, Sematan and Lundu are the other 2 places that have beaches.

This was just a day trip, merely a photography session. We did not visit any resorts or the market. We found a piece of land where there is only a few coconut trees and a trail leads to the beach. The piece of land is totally clear, yes, we were away from the crowd! ha-ha

Enjoying the natural surrounding...

I saw...

Coconut tree that is reaching up to the sky...

Grass grows on the earth...

Boat by the beach...

Wind blows...

Sorry, no picture of the wind! 'x'!!!

青山岩

Last week, I went to 青山岩,a temple at Muara Tebas with my bro and his gf.

Hmm the name of the temple reminds me this:
从前有座山
山上有座庙
庙里有个老和尚
老和尚在讲故事
讲什么故事?
从前有座山
山上有座庙
庙里有个老和尚
老和尚在讲故事
讲什么故事?

无聊吗?

我常认为那不停重复着的故事就是在比喻和尚们每天重复地念着同样的经文。

One incident must be recorded here.

Guess which carpark in Kuching charges the most expensive fee?

The basement parking at Saberkas?
Nope!

Hilton?
Nope!

Merdeka Palace?
NOPE!

It is at Muara Tebas!

I am not sure whether the parking lot is private property or what, but the kids there collect the carpark fee from all the visitors. Anyway, this is nothing new. But I never know the charges increase dramatically after few years, that is from RM2 to RM7!!

When we reached there, a kid appeared to be helpful and pulled away the rubbish bin for us to park the car. I told my bro that he would have to pay for the carpark. So, he pulled out one RM1 note. When he opened the car door, he had really interesting conversation with the kid.

Kid: Boss, 3 Ringgit.
My bro: Waiseh, mana ada carpark begitu mahal?
Kid: Kereta kecil macam kancil jugak 3 ringgit bah.
My bro: Macam mana dengan helicopter and kapal terbang?
Kid: ...

Anyway, my bro paid him RM3 and the kid left happily.

Then we spent around 45 mins at the temple and decided to head down the hill.

There, another kid moving towards us and we stopped.

Kid: Boss, 2 ringgit untuk carpark.
My bro: Sudah bayar tadi. We started to walk away.
Kid: Boss, 2 ringgit untuk carpark.
My bro: Sudah bayar 3 ringgit tadi.
Kid: Boss, bayar la...
We ignored the kid and went into the coffee shop to have some drinks. The kid was gone after that.

This was not the end yet.

When we decided to leave, another kid appeared in the scene again.

Kid: 2 Ringgit, Boss..
My bro: Sudah bayar
Kid: Aiyar, itu tak sama bah boss.
My bro: Apa tak sama? Sudah bayar 3 ringgit.
Kid: Boss, tadi itu 3 Ringgit beza, ini 2 ringgit bah.

My bro started the engine and we left.

Can you imagine that? Carpark fee per hour = RM7. The carpark is just an open space, not any proper carpark.

So, beware of the kids when you visit the the place next time.

I took some photos of the lotus found outside the temple.

p/s: Sorry ah, I know you cant read the chinese characters.
