Little bit about friendships

Complaining to fui before she left after recharging battery that I have almost forgotten how to share stories with them (friends that are not in Kuching).

I always appreciate it when friends come back from somewhere and we can catch up with each other.

There are always laughters and tears behind the tonnes and tonnes of stories, be it a small matter that she slipped and fell when accidentally stepped onto a banana skin or an accident that caused her admitted to the hospital for days.

In emails, we can share the happenings but not the complicated feelings behind it. There are too much things to be written in a mail and we just have to omit the feelings part. Only when we got the chance to sit together and looking into each other eyes, listening to the stories, then only we see the tears in the eyes. There are tears of joy and tears of sadness. Guess that is the glue that stick us together after so many years.

p/s: Written this in March after CNY long breaks and after friends left.

Fun

Promise to show pinkcotton the delicious rice rusks that bulat loves, but keep forgetting to take photo of it.

So, here it is:

Mwehehe...for those who are clever enough to ask the question how I know it is delicious, ok, because the nice kuku (me) will always help bulat to finish the other piece of the rice rusk (there are 2 pieces in a packet). ^_^ Bulat always take it on his baby chair while we have dinner.

Basically, I bulat has already tried the original and carrot flavour. So far, I bulat thinks that the carrot flavour tastes better. Well, the original flavour is tasteless. ;p

The sweetie, pinkcotton, is so sweet to help me make an appointment with a saloon for a manicure session on GOOD Friday. *pok* Planned to do a French manicure at first, simple, natural and elegant ma, but this lady kept saying it is too simple for *ahem* event. I finally decided to add on a few stones instead of the 3D flowers.

Mwhehee, want to use the silver stones for all, but the big one is out-of-stock, so have to use the purple one. Oh, the silver line was added by the lady. She claimed that it will make it more attractive instead of the dull french manicure. :( I think it could be something to do with her skill la! ;p

Anyway, that is my first manicure design nice or not? LOL!

Sweetie stayed with me throughout the whole session. The whole session was like 1 hour and 15 minutes. She chatted with me, flipped and showed me magazines. *pok* She is so nice! Hee...now I felt a bit guilty as ccw had to wait for so long at dunno where. 'x' Well, I did not know it took such a long time to paint the 10 nails.

Mwhehee...now, I have already lost 3 precious stones. ;p By the way, I think the left finger with single stone looks nice.

Want your eyes to look brighter and bigger? Try IGEL-magic black if you have problem in searching for the power range for FreshKon mystical black. Like it so much even though sweetie said my eyes look like kitty's! ;p

Caught sight of these red and pink flowers when taking photos for the green orchid the other day. When there are red and pink colours, there should always be the red sponge and pink cotton too!

Green Orchid

New flower found on mama's orchid shelf.

The petals are in green while the lip is in magenta:

Another photo after raining (colour has changed due to the sunlight, i think):

Mama loves the plain colour flower more, and she has few pots of the same species. Not sure whether there is still new orchid on the shelf not. Let's wait and see!

CHAR Char Char Char Bee-hoon!

This year, the thalassaemia food fair falls on April's Fool day.

CCW, CPH, Winnie, Boi, sandbox, @pple, ben and I agreed to sell poh-piah, yong tauhu and fried bee-hoon. To make it different from the previous years, we decided to prepared the fried bee-hoon ourselves!

Thus, the theme song is: CHAR Char Char Char Bee-hoon with the music from Jay Chou's 霍元甲.

The making of the fried bee-hoon...

The girls prepared the ingredients while the guy cooked! ;p I tried to cook, but hmm how come 3 packets of bee-hoon could be so heavy hoh?! Hahaha...So I just gave up! ;p

Our stall sells...

*GIGGLE* We were too busy to fry the bee-hoon until we have no time to make ourselves a nice and pretty signboard for our stall. We only wrote the price list on 2 pieces of white papers (not even A4 papers, haha) that we could find on the spot.

We had successfully raised the fund...

Did not see any familiar faces around.

After the food fair, I spent the whole afternoon sleeping. So tiring!
