Yup! A baby boy!!

Let's remember his birthday: 29th May 2006.
When I first saw him at 7:35pm, he is quite dark. Big eyes and crying loudly fighting with the other Belgium baby.
Then when I went back to the hospital at around 9 something, he becomes fair. Eyes, nose and mouth are inherited from my family. He looks like the father.
So far, we can only see him through the glass. I have not touch him yet.
But one thing for sure, I am going to PIAK PIAK his petpet. HAHA...
Ah...my parents forbid us to take photo of the baby. My bro (the father of the baby) is actually asking this question: If cannot take photo, then I will not have his baby photo wo! Har? How? (Pity him! lol)
And there is actually the relative of the Belgium baby mistaken that our baby is the Belgium baby. Mama is so worried that he might take photo and asked my bro to keep an eye on him!
Khik ... Where does this pantang come from? Why cant take picture of the baby ho?

Leaflet :: Open Box [Updated]
Leaflets always come along with the credit card statements from the bank. They are informative. But, when you received the same leaflets every month, their values depreciated.
In fact, I do not understand why they (certain banks) have to send the EXACTLY same leaflet every month. It is kinda impolite. I am not blind. I read it the first time I got it. Then the following month, I receive the same thng again. Should I just throw it into the rubbish bin right away? I feel guilty to do that. It is not environmental-friendly to do so. How to recycle it? If I were still a kid, leaflet could be my toy. If I were still a student, the colourful leaflets would be useful for my collage art.
Then one day...I found a way to recycle the leaflet now. NO OFFENSE to the banks.
My sister-in-law has actually brought in a new culture. She folds a lot of open box using the outdated magazines to collect the bones when we have our meals. Mama likes the idea as it helps to reduce her effort in cleaning the table cloth. The normal office used paper is easily torn when it gets wet while the magazine papers can be more tahan. Hee...so whenever we run out of the papers from magazine, an alternative material would be the leaflets. Leaflet is of the same paper type and perfect A4 size. We even save the effort to tear off the papers from the magazine.

Hmm...a boring entry? Okla...the message is: Use the paper wisely. Try to practise the recycling exercise as much as we can in our daily lives lor.
A game for you: Throw Paper. My best result is 11! Hee..

New Project
Project Code: 2006/05/Canon A430
HIAK HIAK..This is gonna be a big project. Biggest project that I ever get involved in.
I wanted to get a digicam ever since I started this blog. That was last year.
Reasons for not buying one:
1. My koko has one. So I can actually borrow it from him.
2. My bf has one. So I basically can use his whenever we go out together.
3. My bf lets me have his digicam all the time since months ago. MUAHAHAHAHAHA!!!
Then why I still want to buy a new one?
1. The photos taken during the thailand trip are very nice. But when they are being developed, the quality is not as good as what you see using the computer.
2. It is time to carry out a new project. Money is flowing like water recently.
Thus...Project 2006/05/Canon A430 is now officially approved to be carried out.
Project details:
Price of Canon A430: 600 (should be 599, but being rounded up)
Due Date: 30th September 2006 (129 days from now)
Daily Milestone: RM5 (rounded up)
If there is nothing goes wrong, the project could be accomplished b4 30th September, which is 10 days earlier.

Hotmail
Hee...just realise this on last Sunday, the size of the mailbox has been increased to 25MB.
If not my bf told me about it, I wont notice it! 25MB ... is only abt 1/4 of the gmail size ler.

Say Bye to Bangkok & Pattaya
Before I learned to greet people SA-WA-DEE-KARH, it is time to go home! The trip is short but contented.
Here are some souvenirs that I brought back which I think can be rated as MUST buy stuves.
1. Tom yam paste - for relatives
2. Kueh Durian - for relatives
3. Elephant Key Chain - for jimuis
Heee....the souvenirs for friends are given out! No more sample.

What I did in Pattaya?
We spent 2 nights (2nd $ 3rd day) in Pattaya.
Alcazar Show - Our mission to go to Pattaya! We watched that on the first night we were there. It is actually the Ah Kua Show! The ticket of the show is excluded from the tour package. So, NAH RM60! Hey...worth it la!!! 'x'! Alcazar Show is rated as a MUST watch show if you go to Pattaya! The performers are very pretty la!! We watched another show which is YUCKY and I decided to skip it!
After the show, we went to Mike Shopping Mall. I bought a pair of Levi's jeans there with 5% discount. I believe that this shopping mall sell goods at higher price and that's why they give out this TOURIST CARD which offers 5% discount! Well, I planned to buy a jeans from the factory which is cheaper, however we were brought to Jewelery Factory (Sell all sorts of DIAMONDS and valuable stones), Snake Farm (Sell pills and priced in US$), Hives (Sell honey which costs RM100 per bottle) but no Levi's Factory! SIAN!! In order to make myself happy, I just bought ONE from the shopping mall which the tour guide told us that there are more variety to choose.
Beach!!! The sand is soft, the water is blue.
None of us, the coward, dare to take up the challenge. So, we just took some photos for others! Muahahahahaha
Had have a lot of fun there. Banana boat is more exciting than the jet ski. Hehehe..
If you are not interested in the water games, you can go for tattoo!! I did it.
It took about 5 mins to complete the little butterfly on my hand.
At night, we went to Carrefour. On the way back to the hotel, we bought mango and fried mussels. *SLURP* Juicy Mango....1kg = RM5!

Places in Bangkok...
First night in Bangkok, we only managed to visit a night market near China Town. Aiyer, the stuves they sell in the market looks like something they steal from somewhere or maybe from the rich men's backyard. You can find anything there: spare parts for car, plumber tools, pottery, electrical goods, wine in small bottle, etc. Besides, they also sell fruits and food. The only thing that my friend bought there was the Lychee. So, I had my very FIRST biji of Lychee in Bangkok! I have never eaten any FRESH lychee before. 'x'!!
Second day, we went to a floating market. Disappointed. Only a few boats there selling goods. Ok let's not be sad, the river is actually the Chao Phraya River! Excited. The long river in Thai, remember you studied that in secondary school? Photos taken on the river:
Before we started the tour, we kept saying that we do not want to visit too many temples. One is enough. However, after the tour, we are so geram that we did not even enter at least a temple because the only temple in our itinerary is closed for maintenance. Therefore...
*sob sob* The temple is so much different from ours.
Besides from tuk tuk, Toyota car is the Taxi you can find in Bangkok.
There are Toyota Altis too.
We spent that afternoon at Sriracha Tiger Zoo. For the very first time, I fell in love with zoo! Before this, zoo is considered as a dirty and smelly place. Why I have changed my mind? Look at the photos below:
There, we watched the pig, crocodile and tiger shows. I rated the shows as MUST watch shows if you go to Thai!
The fourth day, we went to Nong Nooch Village. This is a smelly village. We watched both the Thai Cultural Show and Elephant Show there. The cultural show is more or less like ours at Damai Cultural Village. But the Elephant show is lively. The elephants can cycle, dance, draw, massage, etc...
Sorry, I do not put up any photos from all the shows with 2 reasons.
Reason No.1: I do not take any pic at the Crocodile(scary) and Elephant (smelly)Shows. Reason No. 2: The photos taken in the other shows are not clear, either too dark or blur.
Last day in Bangkok, finally we had the chance to visit the city center. Two shopping malls that we visited are MBK Center and Siam Discovery Center.
At night, we walked towards the Chao Phraya River direction. We passed by a monument, possibly the Democracy Monument.
We found another market. Lotsa stalls along the streets. I think it could be the Khao San Road. Yikes...I do not know the name of the places that I had been to that night. There are more than a LONG street in that market. Each street selling a same type of stuves. There are kueh, fruits, FLOWERS and food!
Variety of kueh could be found on the Kueh Street. We bought some:

Eating the grasshopper reminded me the way I bite my nails when I was a little girl. Yucks!
FLOWER street. I could not stop myself from snapping some photos. There are alot alot ALOT of flowers. Somemore they are quite cheap!!!! IF only I visited the street on the first night...but since it was already 9pm and I was going to leave at 4am the next day, no reason for me to buy any of them! So people, let's just look at those flowers...
