06.05.06

That is date of my birthday this year. The number is pretty, right?

Pinkcotton who is forever concious about my age has reminded me of my birthday few days before it. Thanks to her. =) I remembered that I told her that the 25th year of my life is a wonderful year to me. Wonderful as everything is going on smoothly. I can hardly think of any unhappy moment. I recorded most of the events happened (both happyn and unhappy) in this blog. Therefore, I would not repeating them.

So, I was thinking how would the 26th year in my life turn out to be? I am never a greedy girl and always think that everything is FAIR in this world. I would treasure that moment and never ask for more because I always remind myself that when I am enjoying myself, there is always someone crying behind. But there would be times when I am the one crying and the other one is enjoying life. I do not believe that we could all smiles together without any sad stories going on. I don't buy that. What I believed in is as simple as when it is day time in Malaysia, it is always night time in some other countries like New Zealand. SO laugh when happy and cry when sad but do not ask: WHY IT has to be me who is crying or can this moment last longer?

Again, thanks to Pinkcotton for making me being so emotional during the few days before my birthday. LOL!!

Afterall, I do not have to imagine how it is like when I am 26. I am going to be one in a few days time, isn't it? In fact, there should be no big differences. Just that when someone keep reminding you about it, then your brain will start to wonder in nowhere...

Birthday...my family never celebrate birthdays when I was kid. My parents and I started to celebrate birthday only when my brothers are away from home. We just took the opportunities to have dinner somewhere when it is our birthdays and this culture last until now. Of course, my parents will give me a red packet on my birthday every year. To tell the truth, last time I dont even know it was my birthday until I got the red packet. That could be because of my family only celebrate the birthday according to the lunar date but not the date appear in our birth certs. I cant remember whether I have red eggs on every birthday. Birthday is not any special day in my family. I started to receive some gifts from friends at school when I was in Primary 4, I think. Later, I got to know the Dream Fliers (Opps this is the BIG RED FLOWER club that I had mentioned earlier), we then treat birthday celebration as gathering. So basically the meaning of birthday is merely having dinner somewhere with people that care about it! 'x'!!

How I spent my birthday this year?

I had dinner with my family at LiYuan Restaurant. But too bad my nephew (erm he is my uncle's grandchild) involved in a car accident that night and couldn't join us. In fact we had our dinner at ard 8pm after stayed with my nephew under the rain waiting for the car tow.

On my birthday eve, we had a monthly birthday celebration at the office. This month, there are 3 of us standing right in front of the birthday cake. My colleagues sang the birthday song and as usual pause a min when they are singing the 3rd sentence as they do not want to say Happy Birthday to who and who and who. LOL!! But I must say that we are good at timing, we know when to sing the last sentence after the one minute pause without any conductor.

That night, my bf and I had dinner together with Pinkcotton & bf, 13thpanda & bf, fel & bf and wen & bf. This is a meaningful dinner as it was the first dinner that where the 5 couples attend together. Thanks and congrats to fel! =) If a birthday wish is more powerful than any other wishes, I wish that happiness will stay with fel. By the way, the main CHARACTER of the night is captured in here.

On my birthday, I actually spent it with anger. I bought the wireless router from Low Yat @ RM190 during the KL trip and planned to fixed it that morning. But then only I realised that my current modem does not hav ethernet port to communicate with the router. Thus, I had to buy a new modem with that port @ RM138 in order to use the router. I took the whole day morning n afternoon to fix everything! My bf had been tortured badly that day. But he is always patient when I started to go crazy. HAHAHAHA...Really want to thank him for running here and there after each call!

That night, I watched MI3 with the Dream Fliers. MI3 is actually considered as a scary movie to me. LOL!!! However, there is the handsome guy, so I still managed to finished watching the movie without closing my eyes.

In fact, I received quite a number of sms-es from friends and cousin too. You are all so sweet! Thanks for assuring me that I am older but prettier! That works! Also, not forgetting those who wish to get myself married off soon! Ok, i know I am another year older, but 26 is still too young to kahwin! 'x'!!!! Thanks again for all your wishes. It is your wishes that tell me my 26th year is going to be another wonderful year! 'x'

Thanks to sandbox and @pple because they went to find the rose brooch for me!!! So touched! I love the butterfly brooch too although it is totally different from the flower brooch that I mentioned in my previous entry.
