4th July - Kuching - Kuala Lumpur - Macau

The flight from Kuching to Kuala Lumpur is scheduled to depart at 6:45am. We have to check in latest by 5:45am. It means that I have to wake up as early as 5:00am. ARGH!

Many people worried I could not wake up in time to board the flight. In fact, I really had a difficult time to drag myself out of the bed after 4 hours sleep. Imagine that I woke up at 4:00am the day before and spent the rest of the day as the bride. Say the day ended at 1:00am. Then the next day, I woke up at 5:00am. Ok, that's how tired I was.

However, when I thought of the places that I was going to visit, I told myself there is no excuse for me to miss the flight. ;p

We reached airport at 5:40am. After check-in and waved goodbye to our parents, the honeymoon began!

First time that I fell asleep in flight and did not have any food. I do not know why, but I must eat in flight. HAHA!

Once we touched down at LCCT, our stomachs started to growl. Uncle Mc Donald welcomed us.
Did not bring the tripod, thus we could only take photos for the drinks :(

The flight to Macau is 3:35 in the afternoon. We have plenty of time so we went over to KLIA for a walk and checked on the currency rate. But in the end we went back to LCCT and have our $ changed to HKD. They have better offer rate there.

I cant remember we had any lunch that day. We ordered fruit juice from Fruit & Juice Kiosk before we left KLIA.

Guava Juice & Dragon Fruit Juice.

We were at the boarding hall immediately after we have check-in. Nothing much to do there except for checking prices for the skin care products and perfume available there. I had been told that the skin care products and perfumes are cheaper in Hong Kong. Let you know later!! ;p

Mwhehe...happily boarded the flight to Macau. While we were scanning through the menu, I saw the flight attendant holding Pak Nasir's nasi lemak from the front cart to the back cart. I thought we finally got the chance to taste the "famous" nasi lemak. After about an hour waiting for the 2 carts to reach us, we were told that Pak Nasir already went back home, Ms Maggie's stall was running out of stock to, left only the curry flavour mee and porridge.

Slept for a while and then waited anxiously to reach Macau International Airport.

My first Macau image!

It was about 7:30pm when we landed at Macau International Airport. We took taxi from airport to Grandview Hotel, Taipa. The taxi fare is MOP 21.

The Portugese language is used everywhere. First word that I picked up was SAIDA which is KELUAR in Malay. ;p The hotel was quite full and I guess it is because of the casino.

The hotel provide us a few coupons and we chose to dine in at Grandview Chinese Restaurant. One soup + one dish + one dessert = MOP50 per pax, cheapest that we could find from the coupons. Hahah...

After dinner, we went outside the hotel. There is a Lai Lai(来来)Supermarket nearby. When we stepped inside, we heard Andy Lau's song. ^_^
Green tea that uses Andy Lau's song as theme song :)

The end of Day 1.
