Bro ran excitedly upstair telling mama that papa caught a bird. Mama who was doing laundry, shouted back to set the bird free. Bro ignored her and brought a basket downstair to kidnap the bird. Heheheehee...
Hmm...to the people who is wondering where was I when this incident taking place, hehe..i was still in bed! I continued to sleep.
After a while, I think that is most probably after the bird was put into the basket, papa came upstair to wake me up. He said:"Go downstair, papa caught a bird!" Mwhehehee...well, this is not the first time he caught a bird. But being a good daughter, *grin*, i decided to get up. I went to meet papa's new pet. Woo...a black bird, it is a Myna but I am not too sure which species it belongs to. It could be a Hill Myna as it can imitate human voice. After knowing how precious it is, mama allowed papa to keep it.
Neighbour borrowed papa a cage. Papa was busy repairing the cage so that the bird got a home. Papa also installed the water and food containers for the bird.
After a week, mama found that the sight of the bird shit all over the floor is really sickening. Thus, the bird is going to be give away!
This reminds me of the several puppies that my cousin and parents' friends gave to us (my bros and I when we were still little kids) were being giving to others after a short stay at our place, as short as 2 days 1 night. Weird that none of the 3 of us ever begged mama to let the puppies stay longer.

We called it as "BEO" bird. They are really good in talking and singing by copying to people like cacktoo birds.
Every morning, I pass a house that has this kind of bird. He can sing our national anthem then when someone come to the house, he will say, "assalamualaikum"
then I remember one day, when I was wearing a short skirt, the bird saw me, guess what he did?
he was wishing exactly like a guy looking at a pretty gal!!! LOL
I want that kind of bird!!! but it's so expensive... very hard to get one these days... especially with the animal protect regulation.
