Steamed ayam betutu was too spicy for our liking. Sate lilit was served cold. We still gobbled up everything as we were too hungry.
Our tour guide bring us to a beach where the New Kuta Beach Cafe is located. The cafe is built on higher ground. There is a guard to scan your handbag and underneath your clothes before letting you entering the compound of the cafe.

View from the cafe.

When we walking towards the performance stage, Fui was attacked by a monkey. It stole her bottle of water and drank it right away. Fui was brave enough to shove away the monkey when it first tried to grab her bottle. The monkey then she stared at her fiecely, like it was going to attack her. We all frozed, stood still not knowing how to help her out, luckily the tour guide was there and told her to throw away her bottle. Only then the monkey got away with the bottle. Phew~
We watched the Kecak Dance which was performed by 70 men using their vocal without any help from other musical instruments. I would say the performance is not interesting, the men was there shouting the words "kecak" for almost an hour! But then the number of audiences is incredible. People walked in every now and then even until towards the end of the show.

Candlelight dinner at Jimbaran beach, listening to the rolling waves and enjoying the sea breeze. I think I was the only one that was still active at that time. Setting up tripod and moving here and there to take photos. The rest were exhausted already. But I really loved the place.

Our seafood: a fish, some squids, 2 prawns, 2 clams and white rice.

No activity that night after returning to hotel. We needed some rest.
On the second day, we visited Taman Ayun Temple in Mengwi. Ladies are not allow to enter some Balinese temple during menstruation.

I think this temple is famous with the pagodas.

Next we visited Ulu Danu Temple. Again, Fui was not allowed to go in. Luckily the scenery outside the temple is nice and since it is located on higher ground, the weather is cooling.
The temple is like rising out of the waters.

Another view of the temple from other side.

Bratan Lake, suddenly I love the serenity of lake.

We had buffet lunch at a nearby restaurant. Just some local food, I did not take any photo of it. ;p
We stopped by at the Strawberry Farm after lunch. No, there is no strawberry for us to pick up. ;p
The tour guide then dropped us at Candi Kuning, a market where you can get fruits and vegetables and some other goods like clothes, watches, etc. KC was the shopper winner of the day! Kakaka...he bought a Rolex there!
It triggered our shopping mood. When we reached Tanah Lot, we spent a lot of time at the market. Winnie got her paintings, the girls all got themselves a bag, kc and ben got themselves tattoos on the arms and ccw bought a kite!
When it was near to 6pm, we walked over to Tanah Lot temple. Mwehehe...the temple stands on top of a huge rock, surrounded by the sea. Among the temple we visited, I like this one the most. The water resided when we were there, we got the chance to walk near to the temple and take photos.

Woo~~ temple overdose. Visited 3 temples in a row.
We went to a shopping mall at Kuta area at night. We bought some beer and celebrated the Mooncake Festival together in Bali. Haha!
That night, I woke up from sleep because of my stomach cramped.
Woke up on the third day, not feeling very well.
Yeah, we went to see the volcano instead of temple.
Kintamani volcano which is active.

Batur Lake.

All we can do there is taking photo and paying 2000 rupiah for toilet per entry. The people there are more aggresive. One of the seller tagged OKK from carpark to where we took photo. When we asked to excuse us from taking group photo, she actually showed us her fist because we interrupted her doing business! So, we quickly snapped photos and went back into the car.
Next, Tirta Empul temple. 'x'! Yes, it is a temple again. Fui had to wait outside again and it was raining this time. Poor her.

The hot spring, it is very pretty!

Ok la, I admit that I am a bit "suaku" or "mushroom", I found all these amazing, the volcano and lava, the hot spring, the temples on rock, the temples on cliff. And even the "menjunjung" skill!
As we traveled inside car for the past 2 days, we passed by many paddy fields! The tour guide promised to bring us to a paddy terrace for photo taking session. I love the greens!!!!

You can actually order some food and enjoy your meal at the paddy terrace.

But we did not do so. We went to Bebek Bengil, Dirty Duck Diner to have the famous crispy duck instead. A nice restaurant that I recommend you to go if you visit Bali. It is definitely different from any other restaurant.

Inside the restaurant, there are different designed booth.

You can get nearer to the paddy field, it is attached to the restaurant.

You can even pick up some paddy. Haha..

This is the famous crispy duck. I found it abit oily.

After the satisfying lunch, we headed to Ubud Royal Palace and the Ubud market. The goods sold at market are almost the same. If you want to get some souvenir, make sure you get them at the market and not at the shopping mall. I bought a bear at the shopping mall for Rp25000 and later found the same thing at the market, after bargain, it is only Rp10000. >.<
At night, we have dinner at a chinese cafe. Then Winnie, fui, okk, phin and kc went for the massage. I stayed back in room, thinking to get some rest. CCW accompanied me. Ben later joined ccw. Later that night, I started to have bad stomach cramp. I threw up all the food including the oily crispy duck around midnight. After that, I took medicine and went back to sleep. Everyone thought I would be better after throwing up. About an hour later, my stomach cramped badly and I threw up again. This time it was the medicine I took. Thinking this time, my tummy should be clean already, so we all went back to sleep. But an hour later, the same thing happened all over again, stomach cramped then vomitted. The cramp was getting more serious and ended up, I went to see doctor. Luckily there is the 24-hours clinic nearby. Thanks to the staff at Vira Bali hotel for sending me over to the clinic which is just a stone throw away. After taking the prescribed medicine, we could finally sleep. Poor Winnie, she thought she can have a good sleep after the massage, but who knows, disturbed by me. Another lucky thing is that we bought the travel insurance from MSIG and I can claimed the medical fee which is RM160+.
The next morning, I decided to sleep in the hotel and ccw had to accompany me. The rest continued with their tour to Nusa Dua and have babi guling. They brought back for ccw too. I was feeling much better after that.
We joined them in the afternoon. We went to Sukawati market, winnie bought the girls a sun dress each and the guys bought themselves a batik shirt each. That night, we had a Bali themed party at Ben and KC's room. We dressed ourselves up in Balinese style and posed for photos and featured Indo-Mee. Hahaha...
Leaving Bali on the fifth day in the afternoon. We spent the morning to walk around Kuta beach and market. The prices at Kuta market is much higher compare to other rural markets we went. However, we still manage to finish spending our rupiah there. Haha..
We had lunch at the airport and spent all the tour money we gathered earlier. Hahaha...We are proud of it.
Overall, I think this trip is quite well-organised.
Cheers!
