Gunung Gading National Park

Visited Gunung Gading National Park on 2nd May. If you do not feel comfortable with the name of the place, please convince yourself that "Gunung Gading" as a whole is the name of the place, therefore you cant change it into Mt Gading.

If not mistaken, all the national parks collect entrance fee:
Adult - RM10 per person
Children / senior citizen / disabled person - RM5 per person

You can get the package for some discount if you are going in group (> 5 persons).

We paid RM80 for 11 persons.

The surrounding of the spot where we chose.

Never forget to prepare the insects repellent/mosquito coils when you are going into the jungle. The 11 of us, we brought neither one. @pple, Okk and winnie drove to the town (about 10 minutes drive) and bought the mosquito coil after being attacked by the mosquitoes in less than 10 minutes. @pple lit a few of the mosquito coils and place it around us.

3 out of the 11 brought the medicated oil with different brands, I only know the "cap kapak". The vapour rub was bought from town together with the mosquito coil.

The guys (KC, Ben, Tze Wei, ccw and Cph) off to BBQ the charcoal and were baked thoroughly under the sun!

Boi and I helped the rest ourselves with the junk food.

Patsda was busy applying the medicated oil and helping out with the BBQ.

Yeap...there were chicken wings, lamb and sausages (if only we had not left them behind...haha).

I want to go to the national park too
But they allow BBQ meh, I thought it's a reserve so you don't mess up with the environment?

zeroimpact, waishe, u r the only one thought of the environment!!! U know? when I was typing the post, I had the same concern "can we BBQ at national park"?! It is reserved, right right right?! But ho, there is the BBQ pits wo, so I supposed we were not against the law! phew~~
