We made a short trip to Singapore. It is a family trip, with my parents-in-law and an aunt.
This is my first time using JetStar, overall, I think it is not bad, at least the canopy is provided, unlike AirAsia.
It took about an hour to fly from Kuching to Singapore, and it took another hour for us to get through the immigration. There were long queues at every counter, yes they open up every counter -.-". The hall is full and they have to off the escalator as people are queuing all the way up on the escalator. The Christmas decoration and the super grand sale must be really attractive! It is a torture for parents who had to queue up for an hour. There is another couples with their little daughter behind us. The little girl is so sweet that she gave Aden a packet of biscuit when she herself was hungry. How thoughtful she is! The parents are tall and good looking. I overheard their conversation that they are going visit the little girl's gugu too. Erm, OK, I must blog a bit about what I see during the 1 hour queue!

After dinner, off we went to Orchard Road to join the crowd and feel the Christmas atmosphere. We met up with my bro, sil and bulat there who happened to be in Singapore at that time too. We took some photos along Orchard Road then went home. The MRT was so packed. We decided to take a cab. Gosh, all the cabs were on call! We got no choice but to take a long route to get home using MRT. Seriously, I salute to all Singaporean parents who depends on MRT as their vehicles.
On Christmas eve, we(ccw, Aden & I) stayed back at home in the morning, so that Aden could take his morning nap and enjoy himself to the fullest when we go to Sentosa Island in the afternoon. Lyn and KK fetched us to Vivocity and lunched at Carl's Junior. Aden was very curious towards the way we dipped the fries into the chili sauce before eating. He wanted to try it, he put his fries near to the sauce for a few times but never touch the sauce. It is very funny.
Then, that afternoon we spent time at the Underwater World.

We watched the

Went back to Vivocity and spent some time finding the exit to the MRT station. Poor Aden was so tired and fell asleep. It was quite late when we reached home. Aden slept the night through without taking bath. I had dinner at 10pm that night! Life in Singapore is hectic. ROF!
Friday, it is the Christmas Day! We went out at around 11am and took a cab to Marina Square. Stopped by at Fox for kids. Picked a few items on sale and went to counter, realised that they offer another 15% off from the total bill if using certain credit card! You can tell how happy I was! LOL!
After doing some shopping, we went over to the Marina Mandarin.

My young sil had make a reservation for Christmas buffet at AquaMarine. The place is pretty and there is a wide variety of food to choose from too. Best of all, I found porridge for Aden! LOL. He loves the fish porridge or maybe he missed eating porridge after two days coming to Singapore. Haha..

We went to Bugis and did another round of shopping. It is not easy to shop in the crowd, especially when I do not have anything on my shopping list. So, we just walked around and hunted for anything that is WORTH to buy. Hahah...
At night, we had pepper rice at Ang Mo Kio. I forgot the name of the shop, but the pepper rice is served on a hot plate. You need to "cook" the food yourself. Woo...after frying the french bean for a minute, I started to wonder why they do not cook it for me! Opps...But, the food is tasty, maybe I cooked it, that is why it is tasty! :)
We left on Saturday afternoon. We spent the morning doing packing. Aden was very tired. He slept quite a lot on Saturday. He slept while we lunch at airport, in the aeroplane and also after reached home. I do not know why but I feel heartache to see him being dragging around during this trip.
Anyway, it is the end of the trip.
