iLASIK Information

Are you tired of wearing glasses? I have been wearing glasses for more than 15 years and am really tired of wearing them now. Though the existence of contact lens gives me a chance to avoid wearing glasses all time, its possible side effects make me unwilling to put it on everyday. Thus, the LASIK technology is one of my chance to get rid of both glasses and contact lens. However, a proper research must be done before I decide to undergo the LASIK procedure.

Today, I came across an article about LASIK information that makes me have more confident to try it out. Basically, it is about iLASIK (modern LASIK) and LASIK usage in the military and NASA. The Department of Defense (DOD) and NASA have opted the LASIK to improve the vision of mission-critical personnel and also proved the safety and effectiveness of LASIK technology. It is said that the military’s evaluation of modern LASIK in 100 military personnel showed that 95% achieved 20/20 uncorrected vision or better. Don't you think that the results is really encouraging?

iLASIK procedure is improved from the older forms of LASIK. iLASIK procedure uses two lasers, wave-front technology maps the individual's eyes and then an ultrafast, computer-guided laser creates a corneal flap which replaces the handheld microkeratome blade used in earlier versions of the procedure. These advanced laser technologies make the whole procedure clinically proven to be safe.

I am not sure about you but I am saving up for this procedure in near future.
